Because thanks to genre-bolstering innovations such as internet radio and DAB, the future of radio has never looked brighter. (Apart from that time Fearne Cotton took the week off). So why not treat your ears to a Revo Axis.

Sleek and slanty, this internet/DAB radio/dock mash up represents the next generation of ‘connected’ music hubs, and by Jove it’s impressive. Capable of receiving internet radio (13,000 stations and counting), crystal-clear DAB and DAB+, conventional FM radio with RDS and music streamed from your PC or Mac, the Axis is one seriously multi-talented performer. It even gives you access to bespoke music-streaming service Last.fm. Waddya think of them apples!

Speaking of apples, did we mention that this nifty noisemaker doubles up as a full-on iPhone/iPod dock? Well it does, so there. It even boasts an icon-driven 3.5” colour touchscreen alongside a satisfyingly large volume knob. Piddly displays and fiddly dials? Not any more.


If you think the Axis sounds pretty good, think again; it sounds pretty amazing. Thanks to NXT’s patented Balanced Radiator loudspeaker technology its 8W amp delivers impressive clarity and bass response. Heck, it even features an alarm clock with sleep and snooze functions. Not that you’ll be nodding off anytime soon with this much music at your fingertips.
