Eight flexible legs you can position devices anywhere you fancy

You need hands to hold a little gizmo. But that can be pretty awkward when your mitts are busy doing something else. What you need is a super-versatile oojamiflip to hold your gadgets. And here it is in the striking shape of Spiderpodium.

Inspired by everyone’s least favourite creepy-crawly, this ingenious universal stand accommodates all manner of handheld gadgets, from iPhones and satnavs to cameras and e-readers. You can even charge gizmos via a hole in Spiderpodium’s body. Look ma, no hands!

One grip-tastic octopod

One grip-tastic octopod

Thanks to eight flexible legs you can position devices anywhere you fancy, at virtually any angle: on desks, dashboards, headrests, handlebars, baby buggies (for you, not baby) and more. This is one grip-tastic octopod.

Best of all this soft-touch stand makes gadgets look like they are in the clutches of a robot spider. And if that’s not a top reason to buy one, we don’t know what is.

visitor avatar Will it fit over an Otterbox Defender case?
Julie, Crewe, UK - 20th November 2011
Firebox says: You should be fine!
visitor avatar The picture shows that it can be used as a bike mount. If so, can it take the weight of a DHD and will it sustain shocks ?
Sai, Uk - 1st July 2011
Firebox says: It would really depend on the weight Sai, particularly over bumpy terrain.
visitor avatar Is this the same one as on the apprentice?
Connor, London - 23rd June 2011
Firebox says: It is indeed.
visitor avatar This is the best present I've received in a long time - fantastic quality, price and I love that it's made in the UK! I felt quite smug this morning after watching the Apprentice and knowing I'm 'on trend' with my iPhone gadget grip! Thanks firebox! Let me know when you get the tablet version for my iPad!
Nicola Carr, London - 23rd June 2011
visitor avatar I noticed the comment about a larger one for the iPad - there is one by the same manufacturer the Spiderpodium Tablet!
Jim Davies, Rhoose - 28th April 2011
visitor avatar Would this fit a dslr. Like a Nikon D3100 for example.
Euan Hall, Harpenden - 20th April 2011
Firebox says: No it wouldn't hold the weight.
visitor avatar I really like the idea of this and think it would be really useful. I've already seen the comment below about it not fitting ipads but will there be a larger edition brought out so ipad owners can use it.
Euan Hall, Harpenden - 20th April 2011
Firebox says: It's not on the agenda as yet, sorry
visitor avatar Great product, much cheaper on amazon though. £8. 98 and free delivery.
HOWARD MATTHEWS, - 17th March 2011
visitor avatar I love this! Can you tell me if it's big enough to hold a kindle? Be great for reading when I'm on the bike at the gym. Thanks.
Mandy, Sheffield - 6th December 2010
Firebox says: It should be able to hold a Kindle, yes!
visitor avatar Does this thing hold a DS? I usually like to have it at an angle when i'm doing things at my desk. It would be helpful to have it so I can play the latest games while and sketching at the same time....
Aidan.C, Stockport - 23rd November 2010
Firebox says: It sure does Aidan, it's very much 'multi-purpose'.
