Forget rubber bands and gaffa tape – if you want to secure your iPod or iPhone to the handlebars of your bike you need the BioLogic iPod Bike Mount.

This nifty weatherproof case fastens to your stem/handlebars via an adjustable clip, allowing all you would-be Lance Armstrongs to glance at maps, satnav and GPRS apps, or even film where you’re headed, without going for a burton.

Yes, you can stuff your iPod/iPhone down your cycling shorts but you’ll look pretty silly ferreting around for it on the toepath. More to the point you’ll be riding one-handed – a sure-fire recipe for disaster.

Silicone interior

As well as its Apple-hugging silicone interior, hard outer shell and touch-sensitive screen guard, the BioLogic rotates for portrait or landscape viewing. Checking out optimum routes, distance covered and the cyclist in front’s backside has never been easier. In fact we think this is the greatest handlebar-related accessory since the bell. And there’s already a ding-dinging app for that. Probably. All aboard!

Visitor Reviews...

visitor avatar Question: Before I buy the BioLogic, I want to be sure I can remove the case from the clip on the handlebar. That way when I lock my bike, I won't return to find the case stolen. Unfortunately, I don't see this mentioned anywhere in the description. Thanks.
William Hirshman, Germany - 16th November 2010
Firebox says: It's tightened onto your bars using an Allen key, so it's not really intended to be detached. That said, it would also be very difficult to steal without the right Allen key.
visitor avatar Will it fit onto the arm of a wheelchair as not a cyclist but travel in my electric wheelchair.
Paul, Derrington - 18th October 2010
Firebox says: This is untested but if the wheelchair arm is the same diameter as a bicycle handlebar then we don't see why not. We do offer a 30 day return period if you were wanting to try it out.
visitor avatar Pretty sure you mean satnav and GPS apps NOT GPRS!!!
Chris, Kent - 13th August 2010
Firebox says: 'General packet radio service (GPRS) is a packet oriented mobile data service available to all users of the 2G cellular communication systems global system for mobile communications (GSM), as well as in the 3G systems. In 2G systems, GPRS provides data rates of 56-114 kbit/second' Who knew?!
visitor avatar I want one of these for a 5g ipod, any suggestions??
James Dawson, Essex - 13th August 2010
Firebox says: Unfortunately, this is only compatible with the iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G and Phone 3Gs
visitor avatar Can you plug in earphones or charge when it's in the case??
Phil, UK - 7th August 2010
Firebox says: Yes you can. There are rubber bungs at the top for the headphones and at bottom for the charger.
visitor avatar Bought this for my brother, he is very happy with it and it works well. So far so good.
Stuart, Fife - 27th July 2010
visitor avatar Does anyone know if we can use this on the handlebars of a motorcycle too?
Kate, Tring - 8th July 2010
Firebox says: It's untested but we think not. Sorry.
visitor avatar Seems very expensive at nearly £40 for what amounts to be just a bracket for the bikes handlebars. I will stick to the elastic bands thanks. Its much, much cheaper.
Robert Reiff, London - 8th July 2010
visitor avatar Does this work with the iphone 4?
Daniel, Canterbury - 2nd July 2010
Firebox says: No it doesn't. Sorry!
