Ergonomically designed to protect growing spines

If you’ve got kids and a car you’ll know that it’s now a legal requirement for children under 12 (or below 135cm in height) to sit in a booster seat. Quite right, too. The problem is taking booster seats on holiday is a real pain, and the seats provided by rental companies can be pretty shoddy. Step forward the BoostApak Backpack Booster Seat.

Brought to you by the boffins behind Trunki, this hand-luggage approved backpack transforms into a booster seat faster than you can say ‘Mummy, are we there yet?’. Simply unfold it and buckle up.

The sturdy but lightweight BoostApak is an ideal back-up seat for school runs and taxi/bus travel. You can even take it to restaurants to ensure Junior can reach the table. Fill it with toys, books, snacks - whatever.

Ergonomically designed to protect growing spines and encourage better posture, this ingenious bag/seat hybrid features adjustable padded straps, a durable plastic shell and removable covers for easy cleaning. In fact the only thing it doesn’t feature is a go to sleep button. Shame.

visitor avatar Lol Look at the kid in the seat by himself, he's like 10-13 years old and he's been put in a booster seat. That will lower his reputation lol.

visitor avatar This is a brilliant idea. We've found it perfect for trips to the cinema where my 4 year old is normally too small to see past the chair in front. I was a little disappointed with the amount of space in the bag section, but it's nice and robust and perfect for short car rides when we're short of a normal booster seat.

visitor avatar The BoostaPak is a great, fun, friendly and useful space saving invention. The thing is, it's great for taxi rides as well. Anyway, I can't believe how easy it is now to travel with my 3 year old son, who just loves the seat and holds the handles looking very important! He also immediately spotted the similarity with the Trunki (as we own one) and because of that adopted BoostaPak instantly.

visitor avatar Amazing product & concept, easy to use. Looks good as a rucksack too. Faultless.
