Soft touch pour button

3.55 Litre version:
Soft touch pour button

Unless you’re some kind of ale-supping weirdy beardy, you probably enjoy drinking beer when it’s nice and cold. And that’s where the mighty Fat Boy Keg can help.

This big ol’ travel flask is ideal for roving beer drinkers as it keeps drinks cold for up to 12 hours. Brrr-illiant! It also keeps ‘em hot for 3 hours, but we won’t dwell on that because even cold shandy is more exciting than soup, tea and coffee.

Each high quality Fat Boy features dual-wall insulation for long-lasting icy coldness, a soft touch pour button and easy-grip carry handle. They really have thought of everything. Except the beer. Drat!

Long-lasting icy coldness

2.3 Litre version: Flip-out nozzle

We’re currently selling this mucho-macho vessel in two sizes: 3.55 and 2.3 Litres. And if that means nothing to you, allow us to put it in boozing terms: 6 pints and 4 pints repectively. ’Urp! Pricey trips to the bar? Not likely!

visitor avatar These look fantastic and are a perfect present ... HOWEVER, they leak! I bought the smaller one as the larger one was out of stock. My boyfriend loved it until he used it. Got a replacement straight away and that one leaked too. Firebox offer fantastic products and great service too so this was a real shame. Sort the design fault out and I'd buy lots of these. Also note, that nothing will keep a real ale tasting exactly as it does straight from the original keg it is poured from.
Penny, SW London - 6th July 2011
Firebox says: Apologies again Penny, glad we sorted everything out for you. We're definitely looking into the faults.
visitor avatar These are pretty terrible, I bought one and it leaked, got sent another and it leaked. Tried a third and it leaked! All from the same place, exactly the same every time. In the end I had to get a refund. Absolute waste of time! Avoid at all costs.
Chris Caldwell, N.Ireland - 3rd March 2011
visitor avatar I bought this as a Christmas present for a friend and he loves it except the seal seems to big for the lid and leaks a little when pouring, means he has to pour drinks over the sink but does keep drinks cold for 10-12 hours.
Chris Chapman, Darlington - 5th January 2011
visitor avatar My keg appears to be leaking at the top seal when I try to pour it. I presume that this isn't normal?
Graeme, Glasgow - 25th December 2010
Firebox says: That doesn't sound good. Please contact us at info@firebox.com so we can advise.
visitor avatar Does the contents (i.e fizzy beer) not go flat after having been effectively poured twice? once into the keg and again out of the keg?
Mandy Watt, Sunderland - 10th November 2010
Firebox says: No, it's stays nice and bubbly.
visitor avatar Hi I have a fat boy keg the 3. 55 litres version there is a little handle thing on the top that you can turn underneath the secured handle I was just wondering what does it do.
Lee, Wigan - 3rd November 2010
Firebox says: It reveals a hole which allows you to either pour the contents from the top or to drink from it. There is a lip on the edge of the keg to help with these functions too.
visitor avatar Can you use this to hold real ales and bitters?
Jen, Caister On Sea - 2nd November 2010
Firebox says: Yes, any drinks can be put in the Fat Boy Keg.
visitor avatar Why can't I buy the 3. 55 litres? It only shows the small 2. 3 litres.
Lee, Wigan - 29th October 2010
Firebox says: Unfortunately we can no longer get stock of the larger keg. Really sorry about that!
visitor avatar Sounds like a great product, I have a question, does this work for cider? and if so does it also keep it chilled for 10 hours like the beer? thank you.
Charlie, Southampton - 20th July 2010
Firebox says: Sure does!.
visitor avatar Excellent product - Bought this as a present for my friend. We use it when we go camping and also fill it up before we watch a film so we don't have to walk the 10 yards to the fridge.
