Get connected
This highly acclaimed pink (you heard, pink!) gizmo connects any USB hard drive to the internet, giving you (and anyone else you choose) full web access to its contents from wherever you may roam. Once connected you can peruse and download your files from any computer in the world. Just log on and get gawping. Easy!
Looks cute on your desk
But wait, there’s more: Pogoplug lets you share selected files with friends and family without having to upload to Facebook or Flickr. Simply send ‘em a link for instant access. You can share albums, show off your latest pics (no, not those ones) and even give Auntie Flo access to recently recorded vids (definitely not those ones). It’s like having your own personal cloud without the obligatory server issues.
There's even an iPhone application so you can always "phone home" to get your files!
1) Connect power. 2) Connect router. 3) Connect storage. 4) Activate online.
2. Connect your Pogoplug to your router with the supplied network cable
3. Connect any external hard drive or memory stick to the USB port in your Pogoplug
4. From your computer, go to my.pogoplug.com and type in your unique Pogoplug registration code
5. That's it! Your drive is now online and ready to use

Firebox says: We're hoping to get it in stock in the coming months. Keep checking this page for more info.
Great product - would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to backup their data/photos/music. Really easy to set up - not technical at all. I'd suggest using portable hard drives to keep the power usage down, though the Pogoplug itself is said to consume only 5 watts. I'd also recommend the client app, so you can access the data through a network share, and you can backup your data with any popular backup software. I've only used the basics so far, and I'm very impressed. The forums seem great for looking at the more adventurous features.Antony, Derbyshire - 10th September 2010
This is such a nice product. Now, I have a server at home that allows me to have access to all my info that I've got at home from anywhere.
