Sliding out the speakers on the Headphone Hats

Slide in/out flat speakers
with velcro to position

We’ve no doubt you’ve seen beanies with built-in headphones before, but most of ‘em are ill-fitting, substandard and totally unstylish, thus rendering them useless – unless you’ve got elongated Spock ears, zero taste and a penchant for sticking tea cosies on your head à la Benny off Crossroads (get googling kids).

Thankfully Headphone Hats are the real deal: bonce-snuggling beanies with high quality integrated ‘phones. And unlike crummy rivals these ultra-comfy babies actually cover your ears. Keeping your head warm and your earphones in place has never been easier.

Ideal for joggers, snowboarders, hikers, chilly commuters, exam cheats and church-goers keen to keep up with the cricket, Headphone Hats’ internal ‘phones stay flush with your lugholes no matter how much headbanging you do.

There are two equally stylish versions to choose from:

The Classic is an ultra soft acrylic beanie with an embroidered logo on the back.

Wearing the Headphone Hat Headphone Hats with earphone cable Listening to music wearing the Headphone Hat

Commute to work - tangle free!

Pink,Black and Grey available

Headphone cable neatly at the back

The Chunky Knit is, unsurprisingly, an ultra-thick knitted beanie.

Go for a winter walk without getting tangled in your headphone wires!

White, Plum and Black available

Headphone cable neatly at the back

Yes, you could always pull a normal beanie over your existing earphones but you’ll never achieve the stealthy look and feel of a Headphone Hat, because these fashionable fellas have special lining and a discreet rear slot to accommodate their velcro-clad ‘phones.

If you’re worried about washing (the hats, not you), worry not: the earphones can be removed from these machine-washable beanies in a trice. Best off all, so long as you’ve got a Headphone Hat on your loaf you’ll never lose your earphones again. Now hat’s what we call music!

press review "The sound quality is surprisingly sharp and crisp considering the bargain price and the fact it needs to travel through wool to reach your lugholes."

visitor avatar I LOVE THIS! I`m currently in training for a 10k run for Battersea dogs and cats home in May, I can now run with music, my head is warm and I don`t have to worry about headphones popping out of my ears! The headphones themselves sound surprisingly good and they are comfortable and block out a fair amount of outside sound and of course you can pop an ear out to listen for oncoming traffic. The hat is nice and warm and isn`t scratchy like some woolen material can be. My only criticism is the wire is very long and I fear it won`t be long until I get the dreaded loss of sound in one ear! Will you ever get the headband style in for the summer?
Em Norton, Dagenham - 11th February 2012
Firebox says: We may well get the headband style. We've had quite a big push on the sports and outdoors range recently. We have already added the headphone earmuffs this winter.
visitor avatar Great idea, got one for my brother who also thought it was a great idea, but the hat was too small for him! Can you do a lager sized hat or should I find a brother with a smaller head?
Roger, Coventry - 26th December 2011
Firebox says: Oh No! Well, I think you have to find another brother, as we only have one size! if you need any further help give us a shout on 0800 044 5010
visitor avatar Just gave my son his hat for Christmas. Best present ever! He is severely disabled and doesn't like headphones in/on his ears but loves loves loves music. Problem solved. He is so happy, smiles every time the hat goes on and of course the good thing is it doesn't disturb anyone else. I'll certainly get another ASAP.

visitor avatar Got these with some birthday money last year. They were good for casual while they lasted, but a few months of use and the left speaker stopped working. Tried getting hold of a replacement speaker set but it was from the US and the shipping was rather extortionate. Would appreciate replacement speaker sets to be sold on Firebox.
John Izumi, Newton, England - 18th March 2011
Firebox says: Sorry to hear that John, if you drop us an e-mail to info@firebox.com we'll see if there's anything we can do for you.
visitor avatar Very good quality! Very nice.
Wha?, Imnottelling - 25th December 2010
visitor avatar I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend because of the good reviews. I haven't given it to him yet, so I don't know about the quality of the speakers and so on but the packaging isn't very good for a present it really doesn't look impressive, or very good :(.
Pippa, Southampton - 12th December 2010
Firebox says: Sorry to hear that Pippa, drop us an email via info@firebox.com and we can look into it.
visitor avatar Poor sound quality but I suppose to get a hat and earphones for £25 is very good, not for proper listening though, just small use.
Harvey, Birmingham - 11th December 2010
visitor avatar Just wondering do you have to plug in your phone to the ear phones to listen to the radio or is there a radio installed on the earphones. Thanks.
Julie, Ireland - 5th December 2010
Firebox says: The headphones have a audio jack that can be plugged into whichever compatible device you choose.
visitor avatar Is this i-phone compatible?
Kirsty, Ipswich - 30th November 2010
Firebox says: Sure is Kirsty.
visitor avatar The only thing that could really make em any better, would be wireless tech. But never the less a great product.
Rex, Milton Keynes - 23rd November 2010
