Mini Hottie Hand Warmer
Pocket-sized hot stuff
Activate the metal disc...
Impossibly cute, this ingenious winter warmer is essentially a Hot Pack hand warmer disguised as a traditional hot water bottle. Simply squish the metal disc floating in its liquidy innards and a miraculous chemical reaction heats the wondrous goo to a toasty 130°F in about five seconds. Mmm…instant warmth.
...Feel the warmth!
As well its kitschy novelty value, the Mini Hottie’s woolly cover helps conserve the pack’s warmth for up to 45 minutes, and also acts as a buffer for the heat. Best of all it feels soft, warm and remarkably comforting when you’re clutching it whilst trekking across the frozen tundra. Or waiting for the number 57 on a bitter Monday morning.

I bought this because my room is always very cold (student living!) and although it is ridiculously cute, I have to say I was disappointed that it did not really get very hot. I had to take the gel pack out of the cover to feel the warmth and even then my fingers were still pretty chilly!Mish, UK - 23rd February 2011
This product is rubbish, it gets cold quick, you cant feel the heat when its in the knitted case, plus it takes ages to get the crystals out!!! 1*, defiantly sending it back!!Millie, Castleford - 13th February 2011
It says you can reuse it but when I tried to it didn't work it just goes stiff as soon as it cools down so if I want to take it anywhere I have to heat it just a minute before I'm going out. I'm not happy and wouldn't by again.Annia Naik, 38 Reeves Road - 8th February 2011

How long does it take to re liquefy, shame you have to have it added to water, what if you are on a 3 hour drive, its only good for 45 minutes?Katie, Chesterton - 3rd December 2010
Does the reaction wear out after a few times? or can you re-use it as much as you want?Chris, England - 1st December 2010
Firebox says: They're reusable.
Could you use a kettle instead of a pan to heat them up? I'm going on holiday and I wont have access to a kitchen.Stacey, Newcastle - 24th October 2010
Firebox says: Absolutely Stacey, be careful though!
