Well despite its incredibly realistic taste, it doesn’t actually contain any bacon. It’s just premium popping corn, butter and artificial (but phenomenally authentic tasting) bacon flavouring.
Each box of Bacon Pop contains three bags. Simply place in a microwave on the highest setting, cook for 1-4 minutes and give it a shake. Easy. Once you’ve settled down with your porcine snack, why not kick back and think of a suitably bacony movie to watch: Reservoir Hogs, Porkies, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Rashers. I opened this on christmas so exited thinking it would taste delicious but I was wrong it tastes HORRIBLE and smells even worse and leaves a truly horrible smell for hours in the area it is cooked in after being popped. Frankly, I was disappointed with the popcorn. It wasn't anywhere near as bacon-y as I had hoped. It was very hit and miss with the bags and individual pieces of popcorn. Still, it smelt nice and the smell lingered for hours afterwards! Daniel, Basingstoke - 1st November 2010

There is only so much epic win I can handle in a day. My boxes of J&D's bacon popcorn arrived streakily fast (thanks Firebox!) and a bag promptly went into the microwave.
The smell of it cooking is piggy heaven. I literally couldn't wait to get my trotters into the salty goodness. I love popcorn as it is, but popcorn AND bacon?! I worried for a second as I took the smokey hot bag out & what if it's not as good as I think? I swallowed my doubt.
I emptied the hot bag into a bowl and was pleasantly surprised, the fresh smell was even more wonderful. I popped one into my mouth and I was in love. Bacon, popcorn, together at last. Epic nom commenced.
My lips, shrivelled from the awesome saltiness and my heart, at ease. J&D didn't fail me. I fully stand by their plight to make everything taste of bacon, because everything should taste of bacon.
