As high quality chocolate evolves into a gourmet pleasure it’s becoming increasingly popular as an after-dinner nibble. So why not create chocolate that complements wine? Why not indeed.

Set to challenge cheese as the after-dinner treat of choice, Brix Chocolate has been specially formulated to pair with wine. The blocks of choc are even designed to be fractured like hard cheese and come with a special knife and chopping board. Ambassador, with these nibbles you are spoiling us!

A great gift for aficionados of wine and confectionary (ie: everyone), this luxe package includes two blocks of stupendously delicious high quality chocolate:

Brix Extra Dark Chocolate

Gift set box

Brix Medium Dark Chocolate boasts a high cocoa content but remains sedate enough to enhance fruity wines, lighter cabs and heavier pinots. Brix Extra Dark has a very high cocoa content and is specifically formulated to stand up to the massive tannins found in the deepest red wines. Double Decker and Blue Nun? Not any more!

Customer Reviews

Does the board and wine come with it, oh and the wine glass and knife??
Kitty - 27th November 2012
Firebox says: Board: yes. Wine: no. Glass: no. Board: yes.
Just received this the other day, it is fantastically presented. It may not survive until wrapping time...Are you going to stock just the chocolate as a refill?
Simon - 10th December 2010
Firebox says: Hi Simon, unfortunately not.
Hi, would love to know what the suggested wines are so I can buy some to go with the Brix for a gift. Thank you.
Charlie - 23rd November 2010
Firebox says: Hi there. The suggested wines for the extra dark chocolate are a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Bordeaux or a Barolo. For the medium dark try a Merlot, a Zinfandel, a Shiraz or a Rhone. A lot of choices there for you!
Do you deliver to Australia at all?
Michelle - 17th November 2010
Firebox says: We do ship to Australia, but only certain items. Food products are only available in the EU only as there are customs restrictions.
Is the chocolate suitable for vegetarians? (A possible gift for a veggie mate).
Dan - 13th November 2010
Firebox says: The dark chocolate block may contain milk and the medium dark block contains milk fat. So if they don't drink milk than no its not suitable but if they do wonderful you can tick them off your Christmas list.
I'm thinking of buying one of these for my brother for Christmas but I am wandering would I be able to buy it because of the knife and I'm only 16?
Martin - 31st October 2010
Firebox says: This is an over 18 product because of the knife. The best thing to do would be to ask a parent to get this for your brother instead.
