Bungee Birdfeeder
Seedy stuntman!
Seedy Fella
As you can see, this plucky adrenaline junkie is made entirely of birdseed. Better still he’s bravely agreed to bungee from any branch in your garden and get nibbled and pecked to pieces by hungry birds and intrepid squirrels. Mmm... yellow millet!
A fantastically quirky gift for nature lovers, Bill Oddie types and full-on fans of ornithology, the Bungee Birdfeeder puts a humorous new twist on old-school birdfeeders – and that’s not particularly difficult when you look at the unsightly mesh cages and twee gazebos cluttering up the local garden centre.
Packaging
We’ve got a couple of Bungee Birdfeeders hanging from the windowsills here at Firebox Towers and the birds adore ‘em. Believe us, you’ll crack up when you see a pair of tits (no laughing at the back) nibbling at his arms and legs. Indeed, watching the birds peck away at this hapless chap is really rather relaxing. Just make sure you attach his little red rope securely or else he might just… Aaarghhhh!

This is really naff gave it as a gift they put it in their garden and after the first time it rained it was just a pile of seeds on the ground... make your mind up for yourself.Abi, Suffolk - 2nd January 2012
Firebox says: Oh No! Please feel free to get in contact with us Abi on info@firebox.com and we can see what we can do
Really disappointing! The arm fell off as soon as we'd opened the packet and within two days it was in bits from one night of rain! :(.Helen, Dorset - 20th June 2011
Firebox says: Sorry to hear that Helen, please get in touch via info@firebox.com and we can hopefully get this sorted for you.
Disappointed. Had to tie the cord on myself, then the arm fell off before I'd even hung it, and none of the birds in my garden (and there are many)seem to like millet. Afraid I wouldn't recommend to a friend.LouiseB, London - 6th February 2011
When I first saw this item on the website I thought I'd found the perfect Christmas gift for my Dad. I was right, he was so happy when he opened it but sadly that didn't last for long! He hung the 'Bungee Birdfeeder' up as directed. After one night of hanging in our tree, both legs had fallen off! Then over the next 24 hours the arms came off!!! Disappointed....Cassie, Essex - 2nd January 2011
I purchased two, one of which fell apart the same day I put it in a tree. It seemed untouched by the birds however it was raining, make your own minds up. Slugs love it though.Kim, Essex - 14th December 2010
Would it be suitable for my budgies to eat? It would be a perfect Xmas present for them!Alice Bell, Edinburgh - 25th November 2010
Firebox says: The bird seed includes: Yellow Millet in hush, Red Millet in husk, Yellow Broomcorn Millet and Red Broomcorn Millet.
Great idea although the one I have hanging in the back garden drew the attention of my Christian neighbours whom thought I had begun to worship Satan. Upside down cross anyone! Great idea though!!Matt, West Yorkshire - 22nd November 2010
This was rubbish. I bought one of these and when it arrived the head had already come off. It is not elastic and basically just bird food. I would have complained but never got round to it - it was only £6.Steve, London - 22nd November 2010
Firebox says: We're sending you an email now, Steve! Your item was clearly damaged in the post.
I was very interested to read the review in Saturday 9th Jan 2010 weekend magazine regarding the Bungee being squirrel proof, well maybe but not rat proof, had mine in garden for 20 mins and along came Reggie and took the whole Bungee man with no probs at all!Elaine Terris, Lyndhurst Hampshire - 12th January 2010
Firebox says: Sorry to hear that Elaine!
Is he on string or on elasticated rubber like a bungee cord so he bounces up and down whilst being nibbled on.Jim, Cape Town - 19th November 2009
Firebox says: he's on a string
