Sound Bomb Speaker

We’ve seen loads of portable speakers over the years but none have garnered as much attention as the Sound Bomb. Hardly surprising as this amusing little 6W noisemaker resembles a comedy bomb. Stand back!

When we say comedy, we really mean it because the Sound Bomb would not look out of place in the hands of Daffy Duck, Batman (Adam West era, natch), Marvin Martian, Wile E. Coyote, or even Inspector Clouseau (in which case it would be referred to as a ‘berm’). With its bowling ball type styling it makes rival speakers look decidedly dull.

Unlike the aforementioned explosive devices, this stylish gizmo won’t blow up in your face, or fizzle endlessly whilst you attempt to find somewhere to chuck it. It will, however, deliver amazingly crisp sonics via its high quality twin speakers. Indeed, in terms of audio dynamite, this is da bomb!

Powered by USB or 4xAA batteries, you can connect practically anything with a headphone socket to this explosive ball of sound using the included lead. Hook it up to your desktop or laptop, or use it to blast out the tunes on your MP3 player. Just don’t pack it in your suitcase (unless you fancy an all-expenses paid trip to Cuba, courtesy of the US government).

Armed with a Sound Bomb, not only can you share your music with the world, you can re-enact your favourite Looney Tunes moments by simply picking it up and running around in a manic fashion. We’ve just stepped on a rake, been flattened by an anvil, frazzled by a waffle iron, fallen off a cliff and driven into a wall that had a tunnel painted on it.
