Road Refresher Dog Bowl
An end to spills and slobber
Tucking in without making a mess!
As seen (and inexplicably rejected) on Dragons’ Den, this multi award-winning non-spill travel bowl is causing a sensation amongst dog owners across the globe as it reduces doggie slobber by 90%. If you don’t believe us just ask Barack Obama. He bought one for the presidential pooch – and if it’s good enough for the White House…
Velcro at the bottom keeps it in place
Don’t worry if your bow wow is a bit daft because drinking from the Road Refresher is just like drinking from any other dog bowl. Trust us, we (well, some bloke in our warehouse) tried it so you don’t have to.
Turn upside down... where has the water gone?!
If you’re still not convinced, hear this: former Blue Peter and Crufts legend Peter Purves (get googling kids) reckons the Road Refresher is ‘one of the best inventions of the past 20 years’. And who are we to doubt an endorsement like that? Woof!

"Dogs are not renowned for their table manners (or for their car sense - dad's Hillman Minx was doing about 30mph when the family boxer once jumped out of an open window), but this inventive drinking bowl is designed to provide spill-proof contentment."Daily Telegraph - Jan '10

Was expecting something a bit better and was disappointed with the result. My dog, Murfy, Is such a messy drinker so I thought this would be the answer. For me it didn't work.

I LOVEEEEE this bowl! I have 3 boxers who were always kicking their old water bowl and my kitchen getting flooded! Since I've had this there is no more spillage! Great idea. Thanks Firebox!Aimee, Dunfermline - 18th November 2010
Is the size of this bowl suitable for smaller dogs such as a Yorkie?Zorro, Glasgow - 12th November 2010
Firebox says: The small bowl should be suitable. Please see the more info section for the bowl dimensions.
Is it suitable for other animals like rabbits?? My rabbit can't use water bottles and this sounds perfect for his carrier?Katie, Herts - 20th February 2010
Firebox says: Might be a little big for a Rabbit, Katie!
I highly recommend this dog bowl for any dog owner, it's one of the best purchases we've made for our dog. He's a spaniel and had a spaniel water bowl which keeps his ears to the side rather than getting wet. He was diagnosed with kidney failure last year which means he drinks a lot of water, he would always knock water off the side while drinking and as we had to keep the bowl full for him it was getting kicked frequently soaking the floor.
The road refresher has worked out perfectly as it he can't spill water over the side and if it's accidentally kicked it doesn't spill a drop of water. There have been some additional benefits as well, the road refresher holds a lot more water than a normal water bowl (as it uses the water to weigh it down when it's kicked, it barely moves) which means we can fill it full in the morning and will last until the next day - we were refilling the last one about five times a day, which wasn't good for the dog as at times he didn't have water available. During the summer our dog has a bad habit of gulping water and then being sick however with this bowl he has to drink it at a slower pace which stops him being sick.
We were concerned that he might have trouble drinking from it, take some time getting used to it or simply not like it (he can be very fussy when he wants) but none of that's been a problem at all, he's been able to drink as he wants from the moment we put it there for him.John McLaggan, Inverness - 16th August 2009
This product is AWESOME especially if you and your dog go out a lot. It’s not just travelling though, we use it at home as the dog can be a bit of a gulper and this way she can drink at a nice steady pace.Fran, Sheffield - 6th August 2009
