Retro Game Sweets
Wakawakawaka…munch!
So much so, some bright spark has created Retro Game Sweets, a range of highly suckable sour candies that pay tribute to some of gaming’s greatest icons.
This set consists of deliciously munchable Pac Man Pellets in a matching tin that spins to dispense its orange flavoured treats. You’ll also get a Blinky tin containing sour cherry candies OR a ‘Turned Blue’ ghost tin filled with blue raspberry candies. Wakawakawaka…munch!
Order this set and you’ll receive a Super Star tin with matching candies and a Mushroom tin containing either cherry, blue raspberry or apple flavoured sours. Mamma Mia!
Sour Cherry Blinky
Just as addictive as the games upon which they are based, Retro Game Sweets make great pressies for nostalgic gamers and anyone who appreciates the cultural impact of Pac Man and Mario. Indeed, we doubt they’ll be selling Gears of War sweeties anytime soon. And even if they do, there’s no way they’ll be as cute as these wincingly moreish delights. Pass a Blinky.

"Sweets in the shape of popular gaming heroes and villains in similarly shaped novelty tins. What's not to love?"Custom PC - Jan '10

Just got the Super Star and Green Mushroom set and I have to say I really like them. The Super star is supposedly a lemon flavour, but unfortunately has a very weak flavour so it's not great. I also got the sour apple flavoured mushroom sweets and these are much better, really nice taste. Especially love the tins however, they're smaller than I expected but still great!Jamie T, Devon - 4th January 2012
How do you know if you are going to get blue raspberry, apple or cherry in the mushroom because my daughter only likes raspberry and cherry....Isobel, Great Ayton - 3rd January 2012
Firebox says: Hi!, We cannot guarantee which ones you will get as they are sealed, give them a go, she might like them!
Are these suitable for vegetarians??Josh Hallam, United Kingdom - 10th December 2011
Firebox says: Yes they are, Josh!

Do these sweets contain traces of nuts?Sabrina, Kent - 27th November 2011
Firebox says: They may contain traces of nuts, better to be safe than sorry!
I got the red mushrooms and stars last year, Love the tins, My cousin loved the sweets so i'm getting him some for christmas, Do you still get the blue raspberry ones of the mushrooms? Are there any plans to sell a double pack of mushrooms?Richard, Leeds - 18th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Richard, glad to hear you like them! We still have the Blue Raspberry Flavour Mushrooms, although the flavour is packed at random so we can't guarantee that you'll get the Blue Raspberry. Sorry, but unfortunately there are no plans currently to sell a double-pack of the mushrooms
I bought the Super Mario and Pacman set, and do not regret it! However, the pacman was quite hard to open, as it was screwed on the wrong way, and had to use a screwdriver to fix it! Loved the mushroom ones, they are my favourite! Will buy some again very soon, and definitely recommend them!Alice Southwood, Norwich - 21st March 2011
I bought the Mushroom and Star sweets.
The tins are very good and solid; the sweets however, are a bit crap. Not sweet enough.Kaesh, Stepney; East London - 4th March 2011
The mushroom's ones are soooo NICE! The star ones are okay. . I'm gonna buy the pacman ones soon! Can you sell the mushroom ones separately 'coz they were SOOOOO NICE!!! Omnomnomnom!Suzanna, Kent - 17th January 2011
Firebox says: Glad to hear you like them! There are no plans to sell them separately at the moment.
Absolutely brilliant! I was looking for something just like this for my boyfriend for Christmas, hopefully he'll love it as much as I do. Plus, the pack of fun gums is an incredibly lovely touch! Perfect!Hannah, England - 29th November 2010
