This is a very basic EEG sensor (which senses small electrical pulses between neurons between 1 and 40 Hz), not something that runs on conductivity due to sweat as previously mentioned. Normally you would have around 15 or 20 sensors to give a broader spectrum, so this only picks up thought in one small part of the brain. Considering the price, its actually not that bad a buy, as a quality sensor will normally cost you about 90 quid each....Catzvp, Toronto - 14th December 2009
I just played with one of these it's pretty sweet. Once you get the hang of it it's an odd experience.
O and it has nothing to do with conduction is does indeed use simplified EEG technology.OB Boxer, London - 9th December 2009
Holy wookie!!! I want that!!! :o.Donna, Greece - 5th December 2009
I have purchased it as a xmas gift for the young padawans, but I will be pratictising all day while they're at school!Mithra, London - 30th November 2009
Oscar,
I find your lack of faith disturbing. You don't know the power of the dark side!Lord Wright, London - 27th October 2009
I've seen this sort of thing before. It works by the fact that the harder you concentrate, the more you sweat. The electric current is conducted through the sweat and therefore it tells the base what to do.M@rtin, Redditch - 26th October 2009
Tis good. But brown ale is better.Alan Robson, In A House - 17th September 2009
Firebox says: I don't think Jedi's drink Brown Ale. I may be wrong though...
Ummm why no power adapter. . Why make the base unit take so many batteries instead. Especially for this price?Tony, England - 16th September 2009
Firebox says: It appears that Jedi's just prepare battery power, Tony.
HOW much?!!! but I want one.... .Toni, Kent - 7th September 2009
Firebox says: It's a small price to pay for being a Jedi Toni.
I want this so much it hurts, if only lightsabers were real....Nick, London - 4th September 2009
