I'm a bit of a crazed lunatic when it comes to keeping things clean, so any gizmo that's washable sounds good to me! One question though- will either of these work with Windows 7?

Had my keyboard for about 10 years (gaming/programming). I'd like to hear more about key action than waterproof. The cheaper keyboards can be washed (shower and shampoo, dishwasher too hot for internals and plastic life), but the more expensive ones will have several layers of plastic film; It'd take weeks for it to dry. This sounds like a good idea for someone not happy with simple electronics assembly.

I personally require a dishwasher safe laptop. What can you do for me? ;).

Keyboards wont last if you spill drinks on them because they are plugged in so have electricity going through them. Out tech guy at work always puts keyboards in the dishwasher. As long as you dry them out first they will be fine :-)!! I wouldnt pay loads for a keyboard to do this.

I was told that you could wash any old keyboard and it will be fine, but say that to 3 dead keyboards. So a keyboard that is built to get washed is a very good idea.
