Flip MonHD 3 - 1 Hour

The new Flip MinoHD 3's
1 Hour (Silver) and 2 Hour (Black)

Unless you’ve just emerged from a ten year stretch in the Martian branch of the head-up-your-backside correctional facility, you’ll know that Flip camcorders have been a global smash. Operated by just a few buttons, these idiot-proof point-and-shoot moviemakers feature a flip-out USB arm and built-in software that makes uploading, editing and sending high quality vids a doddle.

But if you think that’s cool, prepare to go gaga as we present Flip’s gobsmacking new HD offerings, the MinoHD 3 - 1 Hour and MinoHD 3 - 2 Hour. These astonishing little camcorders offer all the Fliptastic features you know and love, plus (and it’s a big plus) stunning high definition video.

The Flip MinoHD III

HD quality in a pocket sized package

Proving size isn’t everything (as Mrs Firebox continually assures us) these amazing camcorders produce incredibly vibrant (1280x720) HD video that totally belies their pocket-friendly dimensions. Thanks to a meaty 4GB memory for the 1 hour and 8GB memory for the two hour these big hitters can record 60 frames per second, so shooting an HD epic featuring alarming close ups of your left nostril is a doddle. Better still you can review your efforts on the fly via its 2” anti-glare screen.

The MinoHD 3 - 1 hour is a brushed metal moment-snatcher whilst the MinoHD 3 - 2 hour wows with it's sleek black exterior. Both are powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery which can be topped up easily through the built-in USB arm; it’s never been easier to produce a HD classic starring Morph and the cat.

Super-slim design

FlipShare Software

New FlipShare Software

In addition to eye-popping HD, these chic slivers of genius boast upgraded FlipShare software, digital zoom plus instant playback, pause, fast forward, rewind and delete. The only things missing are the coverstick and dental floss you’ll undoubtedly require after viewing your zitty, spinach-toothed shenanigans in retina dazzling HD. And…action!

How can this be "the smallest HD cam in the world" when the "Muvi HD 1080p Action Cam" also featured on your website is documented as being both 1080p and dimensionally smaller???
DORSET JON!, DORSET! - 25th September 2011
Firebox says: Hi Jon! You got us! At the time of writing the Flip Mino was the smallest HD video camera in town, but now the tiny Muvi HD video camera has come along and stolen his crown! I shall speak to the powers that be and see if we can get this amended on this page.
Hi is this the 3rd Generation model??
Miss Parmar, London - 18th January 2011
Great camera, fantastic quality. My only gripe is that it is 30 frames per second which is US standard - UK is 25 fps! This means that playback is juddery... If only you there was a settings mode or a UK version.
Tricia Hylton, High Wycombe - 1st July 2010
I love my Flip Mino HD! It is fantastic! Low light conditions, vivid colours, extreme portability, style, the list goes on! I would recommend this to anyone who travels a lot as it is compact and incredibly simple to use. Also, for bloggers it's just fantastic!
Paul, Middlesbrough - 17th May 2010
I go to a lot of live gigs an was wondering what the sound is like on this cool lil' gadget also does it zoom thank you xx.
Trace, Blackpool - 14th April 2010
Firebox says: this has a smooth multi-step 2x digital zoom and the sound is great ..although gig's won't bring out the best in it!
You know how people are asking about the ability to take pictures? There kinda is a way. Take a video of the thing you want to take a picture with and choose the snapshot option to go through the video and find a frame to use as a picture.
