Sparkling Gold Cuvee
Gold swigger
Wow! Real bits of gold!
Ideal for adding a touch of bling to any party scenario, Sparkling Gold Cuvée makes regular bubbly seem about as glamorous as Ian Beale’s bath water. Guests will be blown away by your devil-may-care drinking habits.
Why not buy a Gold Bag for just £1.99 to wrap your bottle in
The makers of this festive fizz have asked us to remind you that ancient alchemists believed gold possessed various healing powers. Then again they thought you could turn lead into gold by playing with leeches and growing a beard, so it’s probably best to forget about that and concentrate on Sparkling Gold Cuvée’s stunning aesthetic qualities. It really does look the business.

Unrivalled in terms of sheer self-indulgence, this precious libation makes a great present for the wine drinker with (almost) everything, and makes a glimmering addition to any wine rack. We just like the idea of drinking booze-soaked gold. So get ordering before the gold rush turns into a stampede. Hiccup!

Has the fillings issue been solved? I would really love to get this wine myself but I have around 4 fillings.... Please Please tell me you no it will be fine.April, Merseyside - 8th October 2011
Firebox says: Hey April! As with all food and drink products, we recommend that you take reasonable care when consuming them. In this instance you should be just fine, but we would advise giving your teeth a thorough brush afterwards just in case!
Hi, you mentioned back in 2009 that it was only a UK only item...just wondering if yes can make an exception 2 years later? As a brilliant birthday pressie for my friend? Pretty Please?Damien, Dublin, Ireland - 11th September 2011
Firebox says: Sorry Damien, it's a legal issue to do with selling alcohol.
Do the mini bottles come with a presentation box?Vicki, - 9th September 2011
Firebox says: No presentation box, sorry Vicki.
I bought the smaller bottle for my boyfriend's mum's birthday. She has EXTREMELY expensive taste and is difficult to buy for, but I know she will love this.
It looks beautiful, as well as expensive and I think this is an incredible, universal gift for women.Natty, Bromsgrove - 8th March 2011
Bought as a golden wedding anniversary present for my grandparents. Went down amazingly, they loved it! Not the best tasting if I'm honest but a novel gift.Samantha Coles, Cardiff - 6th February 2011
Are the gold flakes tooth-filling safe? I once had a foil piece stuck in a filling for 3 days (an accident involving a chewing-gum rapper) ... I don't want to live through that again....Nathan, Glasgow - 31st January 2011
Firebox says: We suspect you might have troubles with this Nathan, sorry.
With regards to gold cuvee cutting your throat - this most certainly is not the case, gold leaf is safe to eat and doesn't cut your throat. This all started a while ago by a well known gold leaf liqueuer. A little suggestion if anyone offers you booze that promises to cut your throat - don't drink it.Mark Lancaster, York - 23rd January 2011
Firebox says: Wise words, Mark.
Quick info- here something you might not have known the gold flakes cut the back of your throat and that means the alcohol gets into your system faster ;).Jack McCowie, Newcastle - 6th January 2011
Firebox says: Whilst this may be true, we recommend drinking responsibly.
I ordered this for my sister and it arrived the next day. I ordered the smaller bottles (the original and the Rose) This was he first time I used this site and I was very impressed with the speed of service. The wines are both very pretty and will make a beautiful and unusual present. I hope it tastes as good as it looks!Anna, Devon - 15th December 2010
The info says that this is a dry white wine, but does that go for the strawberry flavoured one too? Or is that sweeter?Clare, Stroud - 24th November 2010
Firebox says: The dry white wine is the explanation for the Original flavour. The Strawberry flavour is sweeter as it has a fruity strawberry goodness.
