I bought this for my girlfriend, who loves it, but there seems to be a bit of a problem with the closing mechanism. The metal catch that holds the umbrella shut only juts out by about a milimeter, so the umbrella quite often opens without pressing the release button. Is this normal?Alec, Manchester - 5th September 2011
Firebox says: That doesn't sound normal Alec, please drop us an e-mail to info@firebox.com with your order details and we'll have a look at it for you.
Bought this as an Xmas gift for my step-daughter, she nearly got mugged on the school path every one wanted to know where it was from. Thanks.Heather Illingworth, Stockport - 6th January 2011
Received my Twilight Umbrella yesterday (overnight postage, fantastic) and I am sooooo pleased that it is going to be raining for the next couple of days. I used the umbrella for the first time today and absolutely love it. I love the silver inner lining and the material seems to be so much stronger than other umbrellas I have purchased for a similar price (that do not come with lights). Thank you Firebox for lighting up my rainy days (literally).Elena, Oakley, Hampshire - 18th November 2010

Any plans for one that charges on solar power, so that there's no need for batteries? I would love an Eco friendlier version!Katrina, London - 3rd February 2010
Firebox says: Not at the moment Katrina, but for products requiring AA batteries, why not try our revolutionary Eco-friendly USBCell Batteries: http://www.firebox.com/product/1625/USBCell-Batteries?via=ser
I received the starlight umbrella 2day, and I have to say I was very disappointed. I thought the umbrella was poorly made especially for the price. Also some of the lights on part of the outside don't seem to be working. I have never had a problem with any of the other items ive bought from firebox. . But I have to say this is one item I wont be keeping.Laura, Birmingham - 14th January 2010
Firebox says: Hi Laura,
It sounds like your umbrella may be faulty. Please email us and we will arrange to replace the umbrella for you.
Love this umbrella, stunning and makes an amazing present to give to someone or just for yourself, thanks.Lorraine Lawson, Cheshire - 21st December 2009
I saw a woman with this umbrella and I couldn't believe my eyes...I had to run after her to ask where she got it from. It really brightened up a miserable dark evening and got everyone talking....Chris, Croydon, Surrey - 16th December 2009
As a downside to living in Scotland most of the rainy season brings strong winds, does the Twilight umbrella have a sturdy hold or will it become a nice big bowl to collect rain water in?Katie O'Hare, Glasgow - 15th December 2009
Firebox says: It's a well built umbrella, but not designed for serious gales!
