Red Hot Chilli Jellies
The hottest new sweets you can get!
Some like it HOT!
Pop one in and chew for a second and you'll be wondering what the fuss is about. Chew on, traveller - you're about to leave for chillitown, and there's plenty more miles to go once you're there. With a kick like a mule that's been masticating on jalapenos all summer long, these have all the oomph that even the most seasoned of chilli fanatics can deal with. One at a time is adequate - two in the mouth at once sends an alarm direct to the local fire station that says 'man the engines, and bring your shades.' Three at once? The consequences could be devastating.
Chew on!

Got these as a present for xmas, these are not a patch on the previous ones you sold in the tube.
They are just not hot, more peppery.
Disapointed :(.Jon, UK - 23rd January 2012
I got my 7 and 9 year old children, who have very bland palates to try them. Even they didn't think they were hot.Neil Rapley, Hampshire - 30th December 2011

Arrived in good time, but very disappointing as they were brought as a present that I was unable to give as the box was all dented and actually open meaning the sweets were emptied out. So really a complete waste of my money and time.Chloe Powell, UK - 10th December 2011
Firebox says: Really sorry that they arrived in such a lackluster condition Chloe, particularly as they were intended as a present. Please drop us an email to info@firebox.com with your order number, as we'd be happy to help you out.
Are the jellies really hot?Esther, Aberdeen - 27th November 2011
Firebox says: 1 on it's own has a pretty good kick of an after-burn. Pop a few in your mouth and there can be some serious eye-watering. Of course, one mans Phaal is another mans Korma. It is completely subjective.
A bit gutted with these really, from all the reviews was expecting them to be... well... spicy.
They just aren't very strong - I'd say probably on a par with a mild-medium curry or a sandwich with some reggae reggae sauce.
If you're looking for a mildly spicy jelly sweet these are perfect for you... if not I'd suggest you try something else.Chris, Glasgow - 24th November 2011
These sweets are good - but be warned - the taste is a chemical, peppery taste rather than a chilli taste. Also ( to Firebox ) you should make them look like strawberries and come in blank pakaging as most people use as pranks/ to trick people. Thanks Firebox!Conor Wright, United Kingdom - 27th October 2011
Firebox says: Conor, you are evil personified! Nice idea though :)
This is a mind-blowing product! I decided to take them to the office, (out of the packet) and offered them round as sweets. The results were fantastic, people screaming, running for the water cooler! Very funny as a joke!Pen, Sheffield - 18th October 2011
Firebox says: Hi Pen, that's great! Everyone needs a little spice in their lives!
My partner loves these, I usually get him a packet to go with his birthday/ Christmas presents. Well his 40th is coming up now and I was going to get him a packet this year too but it says not available. Have you stopped selling them completely or are they just out of stock at the moment?Maggzie, United Kindom - 14th August 2011
Firebox says: Discontinued for the time being Maggzie, sorry.
Whatever you do, do not rub your eyes or pick your nose after handling the sweets as you will feel the consequences. (Trust me, I've had the experience).Martin, Bristol - 7th June 2011
These were great! My brother got them for his birthday last year and to challenge my friends I took one into school. Then this really annoying boy came up and I said want a sweet and he said yes but I pulled it away but he still got it and ate it and said that it wasn't hot but 10 seconds later I turned around and he was drinking all of his water! Haha big laugh, must buy :D.Georgia, United Kingdom - 18th May 2011
