The New T10 Black Version

New: T10 Black version

The big problem with little gizmos is that their screens are titchy. In fact trying to enjoy a blockbuster on an iPod is only marginally more entertaining than trying to read the bottom line of an optician’s chart. So thank goodness for the utterly astounding Pocket Cinema.

Pocket Cinema

Project upto a 50" image/movie in your room!

This forehead-slappingly small device utilises breakthrough technology to project the pictures and movies trapped inside your gadgets (iPods, digital cameras, PSPs, memory cards, mobile phones and more), on to walls, screens and naked backsides. And despite its pocket-friendly dimensions, the image it chucks out is up to 50” wide. It’s even got a built-in stereo speaker.

Pocket Cinema

V10 Silver version, with onboard memory

Just think, travelling with a Pocket Cinema means you can enjoy big screen action wherever you may roam without having to lug around a ludicrously clunky projector (you know, the spool-chewing contraptions that sent entire families to sleep on rainy Sundays throughout the 70s and 80s). It’s brilliant for business presentations, parties and movie nights on the move.

Pocket Cinema

Pocket Cinema V10 explained

Pocket Cinema

Comes with a tripod
and remote

Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, the Pocket Cinema uses a high powered LED to fling images wallwards (yes, we made that word up). We’re not talking plasma quality – and like all projectors image quality diminishes with distance – but dim the lights and it’s just like being at the flicks. Plus you won’t have to put up with any popcorn munching morons. Result.

Pocket Cinema

Did we mention how tiny it is!

As well as its ability to free the pics and vids in virtually any device, the Pocket Cinema V10 can also play directly from its 1GB internal memory or built-in card reader. Simply pop in a card and Barry Norman’s your uncle. We’ll even chuck in a remote control. And why not?

If you’re a lover of the big screen it’s time to stop squinting and get yourself a Pocket Cinema. It really is the ideal way to check out the bigger picture. Pass the chocolate raisins.

visitor avatar Just to clarify for all those saying different things about laptop connectivity. To use this product direct, you need an s-video port on your laptop. If you do not have one, and you have a VGA port, get a VGA to S-video converter, they're cheap. If you have a DVI port, get a DVI to VGA and then plug a VGA to S-video into that. Job done!
Kit, N Devon - Sep '09
Firebox says: Thanks Kit!

visitor avatar Simply awesome! The size of a mobile phone and it projected an image of about 60" onto the bedroom wall, colours were dark (but still highly watchable) so really needs to be projected onto a proper screen. Built in speaker is no good for movies, so I used wireless speakers.
Paul, Swindon - Dec '08
visitor avatar What make is it?
Andrew Kett, United Kingdom - Oct '09
Firebox says: It's an Aiptek, Andrew.

visitor avatar I bought this projector and it is brilliant. I use the conversion software to download movies, and then project them on the ceiling while in bed. Five star equipment!!!
Ian H Ritsma, United Kingdom - Jul '09
visitor avatar It says that it projects UP TO 50" but this is a lie!! I have been using this in my lounge with a pitch black room and have had a really good picture at 120", literally coving my whole wall! brilliant gadget. Use direct from DVD though rather than iphone as the image quality is not as good!
Nikki, Herts - Jul '09
visitor avatar If I create some text sequences (white text) in video format with a black background and project in a dark room onto a black backdrop will the projected image be black, or will I see a square tv shape?
Rik, High Wycombe - Jul '09
Firebox says: It'll be black but you will be able to tell it's projected as the Pocket Cinema will project black video, not just leave the space blank.

visitor avatar Can this projector be connected to a laptop for presentations?
Wdscott, Aberdeen - Jul '09
Firebox says: Only if your laptop has an AV out

visitor avatar Reading the above reviews Lowlut Leeds says it can be used with laptop but Matthew Tenby says it cannot be used with a laptop. Can anyone tell me?
Wdscott, Scotland - Jul '09
Firebox says: Your laptop would need an AV out.

visitor avatar Questions...! Does it have a socket for headphones? can it play whilst connected to power without wasting battery ? and does it have chargers that can be used in aus!? ta =].
Jeremy, Australia!! - Jul '09
Firebox says: a) Unfortunately not b) Yep! c) Sorry, it doesn't.

visitor avatar Of course you can use it with a laptop - but the laptop has to have TV-out (almost all modern laptops do). You can't plug it into the monitor socket.
