Considering the price, I think it's a great scanner, perfect for straightforward photos, which most slides from the sixties are!
Easy to operate, comes with very clear instructions, rather fast and a whole lot better that scanning slides with my HP5470C scanjet.Rob, - Nov '08
Sorry, confused. How can you have a slide that is not mounted? All mine have cardboard surrounds to enable you to pick them up or put them into the old fashioned viewers. Will these work on the 002 or will I have to take all the bits of film out of the cardboard?Linda Maychin, Somerset - Aug '10
Do either of these scanners have a tray that allows you to scan mounted slides?Fiona, Leeds - Jul '10
When you say 'Not suitable for transparancies'; as slides are tranparencies what do you mean?Richard Rees, United Kingdom - Jun '10
Can this work with the new Windows 7? Thank you.Michell, Alaska - Apr '10
Not a review but a question. One website i've looked at is telling me that the non-deluxe version outputs 5MP images, as oppossed to the 3MP you say?Conor John, Caldicot - Apr '10
I assume there is no Linux version of the software? Do you know if it will run under wine (or if I can use the scanner without the included software)?Mike, England - Feb '10
Will either scanner take the "APS" type of negatives? I've got dozens of these films and they take up even more space than 35mm!Colin, Hayling Island - Jan '10
Hi all, does the deluxe version take 110 negs as well?Sam, Heathrow - Jan '10
An individual above says it works with the Mac but only produced 3MB pictures - i'm fine with that. But later you say it doesn't work with a Mac. Is it compatible please as I want to buy one for an XMAS present.Dave, UK - Dec '09
