We was-a gonna write-a thissa whole-a thing-a with an Italian accent. But that would be silly. Especially seeing as you no longer have to go to Italy to enjoy a genuine stonebaked pizza. And we're not talking about getting some bloke on a moped to deliver a soggy Margherita. We're talking about buying the bellissimo Stonebake Pizza Oven.
As well as an upper grill, this brilliant gizmo features a spinning stone element that imparts a unique stonebaked flavour to your favourite circular snacks. Simply pop in a pizza - frozen, fresh, pre-baked, whatever - adjust the dual time, close the lid and Giovanni's your uncle. You can even watch the cheese bubbling via a viewing panel in the lid. Mmm...pizza.
The intense heat generated by this mains-powered baby delivers an authentic-tasting pizza with a gorgeously crispy base before you can say 'quattro formaggi'. (Well maybe a bit longer). Even a fresh pizza takes only 10 minutes. If you prefer your Giuseppe a little sloppier, just adjust the timer.
Simply displayed cooking settings
Neat and tidy layout for easy cleaning
Fast heating element under the grill
As soon as the Stonebake Pizza Oven starts to work its magic, the heady aroma of stonebaked dough fills the air. It's just like being in a Neapolitan pizzeria. You can almost hear the indecipherable chatter of chefs as they waggle clenched fingers and thumbs. Mamma mia!
We really can't overstate how fantastically handy this handsome tabletop device is. You'll never order take-out pizza again. In fact the only order you need to make is right here. Just remember, when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, it's not amore. It's a Stonebake Pizza Oven. Grazie e arrivederci!
Product Features:
Cooks fresh stonebake pizzas in 10 minutes - no preheating!
I love my stonebake pizza oven. It was a gift and i've been using it for about 2 years now. But I do agree that you should try not to get any toppings onto the stone (although I think this is impossible) as it does not wash off and gives off a bad smell when heated. Any advice on how to order another pizza stone without having to buy a whole new oven would be greatly appreciated. Leeanne Lea, Dubai, UAE - 18th December 2011
Hello, what is the length of guarantee you get with this? Dan Nicol, Edinburgh - 1st December 2011
Firebox says: As with most of our products we offer a 1 year guarantee on this item Dan.
I bought this about nearly 2 years ago as a gift and have to say it it one of the most used kitchen gadgets we have. All pizzas, frozen, fresh or home made all taste much better from the pizza oven. Love it so much, I am just about to buy my second one due to an unfortunate incident with my current one, rendering the timing mechanism useless! Leanne, Falkirk - 26th January 2011
Bought this recently because I love pizza and it's a cool gadet and looks great! Have used a few times now and works well, just make sure the pizza isn't too thick and that there's not too many toppings on as it does catch on the top burner and may cause steam to come out. But other than that I love it!! Thank you Firebox and for the sweets haha. I'm sure I will be buying something else from you shortly. . Probably the pizza boss 3000 ;). Curious about this. If you put a frozen pizza on a hot clay stone it will crack.
For a fresh pizza, expecially own dough, etc, quite wonderful. George White, Sidcup - 27th December 2010
Had this as a present great looking machine and states it can do everything you can think of for pizza enjoyment. BUT if you put deep pan pizza in it, it sticks to the stone baking plate and the tops blackens leaving the middle nice and frozen and inedible. And no matter which pizza you put in due to the positioning of the heating elements the centre always seems to burn. Not the best invention save your money for something better.
