Different settings for every day of the week!
Charge your iPod via the
USB jack!
You and your partner can have 2 separate alarms, every day of the week!
Time is, of course, of the essence. But it's how you use it that counts when you're either dropping off into la-la-land or rousing yourself like a bear wearing a hat full of bees. That's why the Neverlate houses a digital FM/AM radio with 20 programmable station presets which you can fall asleep to, or assign to different alarms throughout the week - Drum & Bass pirate stations for workdays and Gardeners' Question Time for weekends, perhaps. If radio won't cut through the sandman's spell, try one of the four buzzer tones. Or plug in your iPod ( via the 'Aux In' socket ) and drift off with the sleep function - it's that flexible, you'll wonder how you coped without it.

"With a customisable alarm for each day of the week, you can ensure you never miss an important meeting again."What Mobile - Aug '08

This alarm clock got an A++++++ from me. I have tried several alarms (some at the same time!) - phone, radio, old style beeping/bell ringing... none woke me. With this one, I never missed an appointment, and the kids were never late for school. It was my dream alarm clock.
UNTIL. After 6 months, the speakers started buzzing... 2 months after that, it died completely :( Excluding that problem I would highly recommend this alarm clock - my partner works and we could set his alarm as a different setting to mine, so we knew exactly who needed to be up, when. The nap timer (as a mother of 5) is also a sanity saver!Lianne Dale, Dumfries - 27th November 2010
Firebox says: Sorry to hear you received a faulty unit, Lianne. Please email us via info@firebox.com with your order details and we will do our best to resolve this for you.
Over complicated. Lowest volume too loud. Display too bright. Screen randomly flashes and changes (i.e. faulty!). Some how sets itself to go off on days when I have never asked it to. Mr Savage, Oxford - 30th October 2010

This is a great clock had it over a month and nothing has gone wrong with it, The alarm clock function works great with the 7 day alarm its ideal for setting the alarm for the week and you don't have to change it for that week it must be the best clock I ever bought.Scott S, Doncaster - 7th January 2010
Great. Actually looked forward to the alarm going off this morning! For those who think that the display is too bright then turn it off completely and press the bank button to see the time in the middle of the night.Gadgetgirl, Lanarkshire - 18th December 2009
Quick question...can you wake up to ipod if it's plugged in? And also will it play one of the old skool ipod shuffles if that's plugged into the USB port at the back? Thanks!Alice Twining, Swindon - 26th November 2009
Firebox says: Yes, and yes!
Please do not waste your money on this product, within a month of owning this alarm the screen went haywire and would just keep flashing between functions rendering it absolutely useless, Firebox promptly replaced it for me just to have the same thing happen to the second alarm. After searching other reviews on the internet it appears I am not the only person this has happened to. Top marks to Firebox as there was no hesitation in offering a full refund.Ben Lelliott, West Sussex - 26th June 2009
First impressions are that the clock is great, exceptionally well thought out to provide such a wealth of functions. Radio reception is good with excellent selectivity and sensitivity so I have no problems with reception in my area of poor signal strength. Clock display is large, clear and easy to read. Alarm setting is simple to learn and use (although on my first attempt I did manage to get alarms on the wrong days because I'd set the calendar to the wrong month - first time I've had a clock that needed to know the month and year!).
My only criticism so far is that the digital volume control doesn't allow me to turn it down low enough - the lowest setting is of course completely "off", and the next is too high to ensure that it doesn't disturb others. Similarly the display lighting setting - great that you can adjust the brightness, but it won't go down low enough for me, so now I have a slight blue glow in my previously pitch - dark bedroom.
Overall 9 out of 10, certainly better than any alarm clock radio I've ever owned before. All it needs to make it even better (apart from more control over volume and brightness) is to pick up and synchronise with the time code transmitted from Rugby so that I needn't remember to reset it when we switch from BST to GMT.
Strongly recommended!Alan Curtis, Somerset, UK - 22nd October 2008
