Twilight Turtle

Even cute during the day!

What have turtles got to do with star gazing? We have no idea. In fact we can't even think of a second-rate, shell-related pun to link the two. But who cares because the award-winning Twilight Turtle is so wondrously effective it needs no introduction.

Twilight Turtle

3 soothing colour options

This cute night time companion transforms nurseries and bedrooms into starry wonderlands that will mesmerise kids and insomniac adults alike. Thanks to Twilight Turtle's magical light show, little angels should have no problems nodding off to bobo-land. You can even choose between three soothing colour options: blue, green or amber. Bliss.

Twilight Turtle

Includes Star Guide and Adoption Certificate

As well as its soporific qualities, Twilight Turtle is ideal for aspiring Patrick Moores because its realistic mass of twinkling stars includes eight genuine constellations. What's more it comes with a beautifully illustrated Star Guide, so you can identify the Big Dipper and pretend you know your stuff when kids point skywards. (Wearing a monocle, talking really fast and hanging out with Brian May is entirely optional).

Twilight Turtle comes with an adoption certificate and a delightful story explaining how he came to love the stars. We won't spoil it for you, suffice to say it doesn't mention shoehorning a mini-projector and 3x AAA batteries under his shell. But, as you may have guessed, that is precisely how this calming little fellow works.

Twilight Turtle

Easy to operate and to change batteries

Twilight Turtle

Create a night sky in
your room

Don't worry about tip-toeing back in the room to switch off Twilight Turtle because a 45 minute sleep timer with auto shut-off means you can kiss the kids night night and leave this glowing gizmo to work its twinkly magic. In fact, Twilight Turtle is so effective we're starting to feel sleepy just writing about it. So hurry up and hit the Buy button befo...zzzzzzz.

Twilight Turtle

visitor avatar Im surprised if im the first to review this excellent product but here goes I bought this for my godson for his first Christmas, little mite was born in November so I knew I had to get something, I was worried maybe its too young for a newborn but thought what the hell he'll grow into it! I didn't want something that displayed winnie the pooh but proper stars and constellations. I was chuffed to bits when I found that this shows proper constellations too! so maybe he will learn a little bit about the big universe out there too when he is older. the Twilight Turtle seems very well made and packaged I have not seen the display yet but his father my best buddy assures me he loves it to bits apparently it puts him to sleep really well. So it seems like a great night time accompaniment to not just toddlers but newborns. But then again dads might be just as memorised too haha.

visitor avatar Absolutely amazing kids adore this and we use it every night - to avoid arguments, the kids take it in turns on who gets to turn it on, and who chooses which colour to use that night...suddenly though after 2 months of using it...its stopped working -- put in brand new batteries -- still no response...tried more new batteries - nothing - never droppe it or anything.... Could the leds have died (thought they last for donkeys)? Please let me know firebox thanks!

Firebox says: Could be a faulty connection? Drop us an email (info@firebox.com) and we can sort out a replacement for you.

visitor avatar Is it safe for a child to play with the turtle itself and look directly at it? Or is the laser light dangerous for their eyes? Thank you.
Dana L, London - Aug '09
Firebox says: It's safe to play with when in the 'off' position.

visitor avatar Seeh tis before think it is great and had one in my hand at one point to buy and didnt really regret this as it would really help with my 8month old daughters bed time. Are the pre-order dispatch dates changing because you are struggling to source the product or because its so popular it is already sold out before the next load of stock has been released for sale? I really want to order one but dont wanna wait forever to get it.
Jane T, Stockport - Nov '09
Firebox says: They're due in on the 8th December and we don't think there are going to be any further delays (the reason it's taken awhile is both that they sold out a lot quicker than expected, and supply issues). So if you place a preorder we should be able to get it to you and your little girl before Christmas!
