Twilight Turtle: New Ladybug version

Includes Star Guide and Adoption Certificate

What have turtles got to do with star gazing? We have no idea. In fact we can't even think of a second-rate, shell-related pun to link the two. But who cares because the award-winning Twilight Turtle is so wondrously effective it needs no introduction.

This cute night time companion transforms nurseries and bedrooms into starry wonderlands that will mesmerise kids and insomniac adults alike. Thanks to Twilight Turtle's magical light show, little angels should have no problems nodding off to bobo-land. You can even choose between three soothing colour options: blue, green or amber. Bliss.

Twilight Turtle

3 soothing colour options

As well as its soporific qualities, Twilight Turtle is ideal for aspiring Patrick Moores because its realistic mass of twinkling stars includes eight genuine constellations. What's more it comes with a beautifully illustrated Star Guide, so you can identify the Big Dipper and pretend you know your stuff when kids point skywards. (Wearing a monocle, talking really fast and hanging out with Brian May is entirely optional).

Twilight Turtle comes with an adoption certificate and a delightful story explaining how he came to love the stars. We won't spoil it for you, suffice to say it doesn't mention shoehorning a mini-projector and 3x AAA batteries under his shell. But, as you may have guessed, that is precisely how this calming little fellow works.

Twilight Turtle

Easy to operate and to change batteries

Don't worry about tip-toeing back in the room to switch off Twilight Turtle because a 45 minute sleep timer with auto shut-off means you can kiss the kids night night and leave this glowing gizmo to work its twinkly magic. In fact, Twilight Turtle is so effective we're starting to feel sleepy just writing about it. So hurry up and hit the Buy button befo...zzzzzzz.

visitor avatar I purchased this turtle for my son at Christmas from Firebox. The turtle only seems to stay on for a few mins before it switches off. As my son is afraid of the dark he gets really upset at how quickly it turns off so we have not used it much. I have looked all over the turtle in case there is a switch to make it last longer but have not found one. Am I going wrong somewhere?

Firebox says: Hi Sarah, check your Inbox and let's get this situation fixed for you!
visitor avatar Fantastic. Fills her room with stars. My 2 year old loves it.
Sarah, Cheshire - 10th February 2011
visitor avatar My partner bought this for me the other day as recently I've been having problems sleeping and relaxing. I'm 19 and I'm amazed by the stars on the ceiling and how soothing they are. Slept like a baby last night for the first time in months. Fantastic product. Anyone who says that you're too old for one is jealous.

visitor avatar I've recently purchased a Twilight Turtle from a different website, but it only stayed on for a few minutes and then turned it self off and kept cutting out. I changed the batteries and it stopped working but it was a very cheap price. Will mine be a cheaper version? Firebox will you advise me please?
Klf, - 21st January 2011
Firebox says: We don't know exactly what you've purchased klf, but it sounds like it's faulty so we would recommend contacting the trailer in question.
visitor avatar I have bought 3 of these so far as gifts for family and friends children. Ranging from 1 to 4 year olds. The two older children 2 and 4 now sleep in their own beds at night because of these. The have them under the covers and love them to bits. Their faces were just a picture when they were opened up and turned on. I am going to buy some more as my mum wants one for the overnight babysitting. (I think it's for her really but she can't admit to it) and I think I am just going to have to get one myself.
Lyndsey, Kent - 5th January 2011
visitor avatar I am so pleased with it it works so well, and am sure my little girl will be so pleased that Father Christmas brought her the twinkle star she ask him for. Thank you firebox for getting it to me before Crimbo even in the snow.
Shona, Grravesend - 21st December 2010
visitor avatar I've just bought one of these for my upcoming first born(due 24th dec) and I must say it's brilliant! Exactly what we're looking for! Perfect for any nursery. Also as usual a super fast delivery from Firebox even with all the snow delays etc. Thanks Firebox!
Mark, Didcot - 21st December 2010
visitor avatar Does the turtle play soothing music at all?
Marie, Staffordshire - 29th November 2010
Firebox says: It does not.
visitor avatar I bought this turtle for my sons nursery and its amazing. I absolutely love it!! It does work and projects really well on the walls & celling.... I was unsure whether it would work reading someones review that said it did not work well but it does!! As it does state best when in the middle of the room, I will put the turtle on the floor when its bed time & move it once he's fell asleep. Brilliant, would recommend...!!
Emma, South Yorkshire - 25th November 2010
visitor avatar Really good idea but was disappointed. Projection isn't great unless you have it quite near the ceiling and literally in the middle of the room, which isn't practical as my furniture etc. is not in the middle of the room or high enough to the ceiling so there is nothing to set it on!! I got this for a child's small room that has a partially sloped ceiling and this was not good either as stars were fuzzy and distorted. Only seems to work well in larger rooms.
Janice, Belfast, NI - 22nd November 2010
Firebox says: It does work best in total darkness, but yes, a slanted ceiling may wreak havoc with projections!
