You can buy all kinds of exotic plants to brighten up your garden, but most of the pots you put 'em in are duller than a Monty Don monologue. Worse still, unless you dip them in luminous paint, you can't see them at night. And that's exactly why the Solar Powered Plant Pot is such a great idea.

Not a review, just a quick question - is it frost proof? I'm after this for my mum-in-law but she has bad arthritis so wouldn't be able to move it in and out once it's full.Jo, Birmingham - Jan '10
Firebox says: For optimum life the solar panel should be protected from weather extremes such as snow or frost. However this can be disconnected from the pot and taken inside during extreme conditions.

Nice pot and I was surprised how big it is. However about the half of it is dedicated to the light itself not for the plant! It works fine but don't expect so bright light as is on the pics (I bought a white one). All in all, it is a good present.Brano Pales, London - Dec '09
