My wife bought me one of these for Christmas. Had to send the first one back because it was faulty but we emailed Firebox and the next day they contacted us and arranged delivery and collection for the following day. Fantastic service. The second one works ok and the results are excellent. Only downside is the appalling instructions that come with it. Tried to get instructions online but they are equally as bad. I called the ION helpline who are helpful but really didn't know much and referred me to the website. Worked it out myself in the end. All in all a very good product and I would recommend it, particularly if you are like me and want to put your videos on your IPOD.

Hi, I have purchased one of these to transfer all my old video collections to DVD's, everything records fine (although you can only do around 2hrs per DVD so any longer films you may need to edit). I have a problem on playback via DVD once converted once watching it every after about 2 -3 mins it speeds up for around 2 seconds (so peoples actions are seen in fast motion?) this has happens to two different films so far and its annoying when watching. Is there anything I can do? i. E change PAL setting e. G PAL_B, D, H etc or change playback in HQ high quality?? please let me know as I have 150 videos and this will spoil watching them back. Thanks.
