Portable BBQ Grill

Portable

Disposable barbecues are all well and good, as long as you don't mind scorching the grass as you faff around with their flimsy foil trays, before binning them after one measly barbecue. Actually, come to think of it, they're total pants. That's why you need one of our brilliant Portable BBQ Grills.

Portable BBQ Grill

Simply unfold, fill with charcoal and light

Ideal for festivals, camping trips and any garden soiree where space is tight, this robust grill is crafted in pressed-steel yet it's light enough to take almost anywhere. What's more you don't need SAS training to prepare your nosh because using a Portable BBQ Grill is easier than flipping a burger. Simply unfold, fill with charcoal and light.

Portable BBQ Grill

Notebook BBQ

The Notebook BBQ is an astoundingly portable, supermodel-slim grill resembling a laptop. The major difference is you can unfold it and chuck bangers on it. And once the included racks are in place you'll have a 45x30cm cooking area. It's enough to give flat-packed paraphernalia a good name.

We guarantee it will reignite your love for chargrilled bangers, burgers and drumsticks, because you don't need Arnie-size muscles to move it from A to B. So get ordering. And remember the words of Herr Schwarzenegger: 'If it bleeds, we can grill it.'

visitor avatar I used this BBQ last night. At first, it seemed like an awesome principle, but I was quickly proven wrong. The BBQ kept insisting on disassembling itself (The grill sliding off the shelf), then the sides would collapse in because there's nothing to keep them up. This is no substitute for your good old solid BBQ :(.

visitor avatar I so love my BBQ Grill, bought a couple of years ago now. It has been well used so I gave it a coat of BBQ paint yesterday, and today it looks as good as new :) Best thing about it - the grills fit in the dishwasher, making this the easiest to clean BBQ I have ever had. Not to mention it fits under the sofa waiting for the next sunny day!
Julie, Corby - 20th April 2011
visitor avatar Really small and compact when folded away, but still has a nice sized cooking area. This has been used as a BBQ/firepit on 2 camping trips now, and although its slightly bent and the paint is peeling off, it still does its job perfectly well!
David Hunter, Leeds - 25th August 2010
visitor avatar There's good and bad.... Took it with me to a festival weekend for it's first use and it worked a treat. Easy to carry with us and quick to set up and get going. Then, after day three we tried to pack it away and were disappointed to discover that the metal was bent and twisted, so it wouldn't close and the coating on the metal had started peeling away. In conclusion, we may as well have bought three disposable barbecue's since it would have been cheaper! Don't think this grill is going to get much use past the three times we used it at up at the festival, I'm afraid.

visitor avatar Well, I have just took delivery of this at 8. 30 in the morning and I am wondering if BBQ for breakfast is wrong? it is well built and seams easy to store and assemble. Would highly recommend to all. Looking forward to meat.... And possibly a little salad ;-).
Mark, Bristol - 15th June 2010
visitor avatar This is the most awesome barbecue ever. It lives easily in the car boot all year and takes up minimal space. Large cooking area and really robust. I am now starting on my second one as 2 years of barbecues and fires has seen the first one off. Not perfect, coals can drop out etc. And does warp after time due to the thinnish metal but so portable and handy.

visitor avatar Practically put itself up out of the box! Did Paul Daniels design this? Could not believe how compact it is folded - if the Tardis has a BBQ then this is it. I love it. For the price of four disposables it is a no brainer!
Lewis, Preston - 14th December 2009
visitor avatar Bought one of these for my step-dad who is in his 50's and has NEVER hosted his own BBQ! I know - terrible isn't it?! So I thought every man needs a BBQ (sorry girls, don't mean to be sexist!). Although he hasn't used his BBQ yet, he was very excited to have received it and can't wait to get it going and hopefully extend his culinary skills from beans on toast!! Thanks Firebox for such a speedy delivery and yummy sweets, very impressed! I'm addicted to your website and have converted friends, family and colleagues already!
Laura, Kidderminster - 26th November 2009
visitor avatar Bought this for a october camping trip! crazy I know however its a great size and cooks for a long time on just one set of coals! allows enough food for 2 v hungry people or 4 not so hungry people:) and like some of the other people it makes a great place to have a small safe fire! which we needed that night! we have used it again already and although a bit of a pain to clean and pack away a great purchase! thanks fire box and free sweets:) and free next delivery ta v much adam.
Adam, Hull - 19th November 2009
visitor avatar This really is the best portable BBQ/grill out there! Used for camping to BBQ & then later in the evening as a fire-pit. Easily transportable with a large cooking area and folds flat after use. Need to use the larger charcoal briquettes. Everyone who used it, wanted one!
