LockLite

Quit fumbling

Customer rating:

Trying to get your key in the front door at night is like playing pin the tail on the donkey, minus the jelly and ice cream and not nearly as amusing. Thankfully LockLite is here to show you the way with its keyhole-illuminating light.

Lock Lite

No more key scratching!

This ingenious gizmo transforms any standard round-headed house key (Yale etc) into a powerful LED torch. Simply snap the slimline stainless steel assembly on to your door key and you're away. To activate the ultra bright LED just press the rubberised pad and a lock-dazzling beam of light shines directly ahead up to 3 metres. It's quite literally brilliant!

Lock Lite

Very powerful LED light!

Set to become a permanent addition to your pocket (as long as you don't forget your keys), this neat device is so unobtrusive you'll forget it's there - until you need it, in which case it should already be in your hand. Which is nice. You can even use it to shed light on your kebab as you meander home of an evening.

Easy to fit...

Lock Lite

Remove the circlip and spinner

Replace the plastic key with your own one

Put it all back together!

Lock Lite

Replaceable batteries

Speaking of meandering, the LockLite is a must-have accessory for anyone who's in the habit of returning home in an advanced state of liquid refreshment, as it enables all you fumbling buffoons to see exactly where you're poking your keys. It's also ideal for those of you who live off dark hallways or can't be bothered to change the porch light. Oh the relief when that gleaming beam illuminates the lock; it's verging on the divine.

Lock Lite

LED casts a shaft of light up to 3 metres in length!

Each LockLite is powered by a pair of long life lithium batteries that give up to 2 hours of light, which is more than enough considering you only need a split second blast to guide you to your lock. And if you really are a hopeless lock-finder, fear not because the batteries can easily be replaced.

Lock Lite

A torch that still looks
like a key!

This really is the most brilliantly simple gadget we've seen in yonks. And at under a fiver it's a steal. In fact unless you've got some kind of iris-scanning entry system or a floodlit front door we can think of no good reason why you wouldn't want to buy a LockLite this very second. Your paintwork will love you for it.

Once you fit the key, this is a great device. The light is very bright as can clearly be seen in the video.

visitor avatar These are ACE. (No...not Ventura) they're very bright and very helpful when stumbling home in the wee hours. Would definitely recommend this product.

visitor avatar I bought one of these about three years ago. It finally broke from my key when I dropped it (for the umpteenth time) a couple of weeks ago. I live in a very quiet and quite rural area with no street lights and I can honestly say I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT. Hence I'm back here for a replacement. I'd also commend it's shelf life - three years is pretty damned good!

visitor avatar Great product but very difficult to fit. Our key was a different type and shape as the one displayed so I could not follow the instructions to fit it.

visitor avatar Inferior quality product - waste of £5, had three and sent them all back. Refund was promptly arranged.

visitor avatar Was sick of taking ages to find my front door lock when coming in from the dark so bought this. I'm very impressed with the strength of the light, it means I save time and getting my door locked quicker especially when living alone is worth way more than £4. 99.

visitor avatar Bought the locklite and although its a great invention the instructions were misleading, however all sorted now so I can hopefully find my door but I will probly lose my keys knowing my luck !!!

visitor avatar I love these things! Bought one for my boyfriend as he's always stumbling home drunk after the pub making lots of noise (but considerably less now he can see the keyhole!). Very handy gadget and easy to fit on your key!
Fiona, South Wales - 15th December 2008
visitor avatar Very useful product. Delivery was extremely fast, came the day after I'd ordered it. The key was a bit of a squash to get in but once I managed it I thought the light was awesome. Went out last night for a meal and a few pints and well, when they say its bright, it really is! never mind the lock, this little baby lit up the whole front door! well worth buying for those who enjoy late nights out :).

visitor avatar This product is superb, was a bit fiddily to fit on and did have to squeeze the key in a bit but when it was on it was brilliant. To test it I went out that night and got so drunk that I could use the light to see the door, shame about the stairs though lol.
