Another question, would the camera case be ok for a camera phone? I have a Sony Ericsson k800 Cybershot and was wondering if it can be used for keeping it dry for taking photos while skiing. Thanks.Ben Yeoman, Gt Dunmow, Essex - Jul '08
Firebox says: Hi Ben, we reckon that would be fine but not if you're prone to crashing. The case won't protect your camera phone then.
Hi. Will you be getting the Waterproof MP3 Player case back in stock at all? It would be really useful.Linz, Portsmouth - Jan '10
Firebox says: Keep checking back on this page and hopefully we'll get it back soon.
Okay question - How can you swim with it? And does the pressure when you swim lengths or something damage it? I really wanna get one but is it totally waterproof so like no chance any water will get in??Ciaran, Totnes - Dec '09
Firebox says: The cases are 100% waterproof and guaranteed submersible to 19ft / 6m
Can you use the camera case with cameras with a zoom lenses, I have a Fujifilm Finepix F31FD.Lisa, Norwich - Dec '09
Firebox says: I'm afraid not. The camera case is not suitable for cameras with telescopic lenses
I bought one of these shortly after having been away on holiday - in preparation for the following year. We'd used the disposable underwater cameras and managed to get a heap of really rubbish pictures...which we had paid for twice over!
This year, suitably armed with my overboard bag and old kodak digital camera (not that I didn't trust the bag with my new one, it's just that my kodak doesn't have an optical zoom function) I managed to get absolutely loads of brilliant pictures! On the occasions a picture was less than brilliant, it was usually to do with the limitations of the camera, not the bag.
Definitely worth having until such time as the manufacturers start selling decent underwater digital cameras at a sensible price! ;).Kay, Basinghell - Dec '09
Sorry, Another Question!
I have a Samsung PL50 and the lens extends outward when used is there room in the case to account for lenses that extend outwards?Amber, Warwickshire - Dec '09
Firebox says: Unfortunately not. Sorry!
I am thinking of buying one of the mp3 cases for my dad and a camera case for myself for our up and coming holiday; but I was wondering if the screen will get dirty if it is kept in the sea for too long from salt?Rebecca Milton, St.albans - Nov '09
Firebox says: That all depends on long you intend to stay in the sea. I wouldn't suggest prolonged periods of time. However, the cases are designed to protect your camera and are 100% waterproof and keeps out dust, sand and dirt as well as other great features
Im afraid the actual product doesnt look like the ones on the website...I bought the £15 camera case but it arrived to me without the blow-up floaty bits! Therefore it doesnt float!!!Claire, Kent - Nov '09
Firebox says: Sorry Claire - the model changed without us knowing about it! The new model doesn't have the blow up panels (to make it easier to access the camera controls) but it WILL still float.
Sorry not a review but another question.... I want to buy this for my other half as he takes his I phone away on holidays to the beach and watches films on it... can you still see the screen clear enough to do this???Donna, Nuneaton - Nov '09
Firebox says: Yep! Absolutely.
Hi, Yet another question but will my Sony DSC-S600 fit in here? Im going on holiday but if it fits I will review it after?
Cheers.Chris, Beckenham - Sep '09
Firebox says: Hi! Please take a look at the dimensions and sizes we have included on the site. This should give you a good idea.
