Video Watch

Watch movies and listen to music on your watch!

Forget about those ludicrous P Diddy-style bling watches and stupidly expensive chronographs made by some ancient Swiss bloke with half moon glasses and a pair of tweezers. In order to triumph in the never-ending battle of wristwatch one-upmanship you need a timepiece that plays movies. Enter the Video Watch.

This surprisingly slim gizmo isn't diamond encrusted and it won't send out a distress signal from 20,000 leagues under the sea, but it will play movies and display photos on its high-resolution 1.5" screen in a most impressive fashion. It can even play your music files. Awesome!

Video Watch

Convert movies on
your PC

Transfer files via USB

Sit back and relax to your favourite film!

Simply USB the chic Video Watch into your PC, fire up the included software and download your favourite files. It's a doddle. And with 2GB of internal memory you can store hours of video or stacks of songs or photos. You won't need to worry about power because an internal rechargeable battery gets its juice from USB or mains and gives up to 8 hours playback for music and video. Before you know it you'll be watching blockbusters on the bus, cartoons in class (tut, tut, teacher) and slideshows on the 7.30 from Paddington.

Video Watch

Easily controlled by sleek buttons on its side (skip, volume, mode, play and pause), this amazing little gizmo even has 5 equaliser modes for audio playback. And speaking of sound, you can listen in using the included earphones. It's like having a portable cinema wrapped round your wrist. Sort of.

Video Watch

Comes with everything
you need

In all this excitement we almost forgot to mention that the Video Watch also displays the time and date in digital format. But who cares about that when you're glued to your favourite movies? It's guaranteed to make watch-bores and movie-buffs weep in complete and utter envy. Oh yes, one more thing: this multimedia marvel even operates as a dictaphone, which reminds us - note to self: buy a Video Watch. It's what wrists were made for!

visitor avatar Im thinking of getting one of these and I was wondering if you could put your own dvd's onto the watch? and if so how many can it hold?
Alistair Dann, London - 30th October 2009
Firebox says: ..you can upload anything that you have downloaded to your PC but in most cases you can't save your DVD's as they will be copy protected. With 2 GB of memory you can store hours of video on there so maybe have a go at downloading your favourite films.
visitor avatar Stay away from this product and put your money towards an iPod! I bought this in the hope of a) combining as many gadgets as I could into one thing and b) be the envy of friends and enemies alike Unfortunately I ended up sending this back as the software proved to be flakey at best in converting files to be played on the watch (it does not play native MP4 format, it has to be converted to it's own format) and the watch itself would constantly turn it's display off meaning you had to press a button to get the display back on (not easy if you've got your hands full or your in the middle of something). I ended up getting a full refund and was very dissapointed with my experience with it and yes, I did end up getting an iPod. In case any of you are wondering if it was just a case of me not knowing how to use it, well I've been a computer programmer for over 15 years so I should be qualified enough!
Simon, Croydon - 21st October 2009
visitor avatar I am thinking of buying one of these but am worried about the black lines that are on the screen in the video.
Sue, Surrey - 19th October 2009
Firebox says: That's just what screens look like when you try to record them! Doesn't look like that in reality.
visitor avatar Is it reasonably water resistant? As in how much water can it take since I'm not expecting to be able to scuba dive with but if it cant stand English rain or being drop in the sink, I may have an issue with it.
John Doe, London - 2nd October 2009
Firebox says: It'll stand a few drops of rain, but not a dunk in the sink!
visitor avatar Is this watch waterproof? If not then I probably won't buy....
Barnaby, Newbury - 30th September 2009
Firebox says: No it's not. Sorry!
visitor avatar Really stupid question but can the watch display time in 12h format?
James Freeman, Devon - 22nd August 2009
Firebox says: No, 24 hour display only, sorry!
visitor avatar You know the headphone slot is it a specialised output socket or is it just a standard 3. 5mm jack that most headphones use? thanks.
Rowan, Nottingham - 30th May 2009
Firebox says: This piece of kit comes with an adaptor so that your own headphones can be used. Ace!
visitor avatar This watch is a great product, and the sound quality is very good. The screen is clear, and the demo pictures are impressive. I really recommend this. Thanks to Firebox for very friendly service, and quick delivery.
David Clarke, Herts - 16th December 2008
