Gelicity Spa Jelly Bath
From water to gel and back again
Soothing and relaxing.
Taking bath time to new heights of decadence, Gelicity Aromatherapy Bath Gel is actually a powder but when it mixes with water something quite astonishing occurs. Within minutes the water becomes gel - and not just any gel; this soothing stuff is infused with lavender, jasmine and bergamot. Bliss!
Wonderful goo!
Because of its gloopy composition the gel retains heat up to three times longer, soothing your skin, easing aching joints and muscles, and opening and cleaning your pores. You really can soak yourself silly. It's like having a luxury spa treatment in the tub. And seeing as the oils within Gelicity have been carefully selected to relax and revive you'll emerge feeling pampered to the max.
From water to gel:
Empty the Gel Former pack into your bath water. |
|
Stir in and wait for 4-5 minutes. |
|
Your bath water has been transformed into a thick luxurious gel! |
From gel back to water:
Pour in the Gel Dissolver while you are still in the bath. |
|
As Gelicity starts to turn back into water, get out of the bath. |
|
Wait another 10-15 minutes and drain! |
As well as its restorative benefits, Gelicity Aromatherapy Bath Gel is great fun for adults and kids alike, because soaking in a tub of luxe goo feels incredibly surreal. Regular baths will seem positively boring in comparison. You really have to experience it to believe it. So get ordering - it's what bath tubs were invented for!

I got this for my mum for her birthday, she used it and loved it! Some of it clumped together, so there was clumps of jelly, but she used it with her spa lights and it worked really well.Karis, London - 20th December 2011
I absolutely love this item. It is so cool! I got it for myself and thought it smelled good, the colour was nice and the instructions were easy to follow. No problems turning the water into "goo", not turning it back into water. I got my sister one last Christmas, and afterwards she thought she had blocked the plug, but dont worry- it hadn't - she just forgot to take the plug out!Pen, Sheffield - 17th October 2011
Firebox says: 'Goo'-d to hear that you enjoyed it Pen! Who wouldn't want to bathe in jelly?
My boyfriend got me this for Xmas and it was amazing! The weirdest sensation ever but so relaxing. I suffer from back problems and it even make my back feel better. Would definitely recommend it, even gave me a laugh trying to get out when it's so slippery!Angela, Glasgow - 22nd February 2011
I bought this for a friends birthday and she followed the instructions to the letter, but also found that it went to a frog spawn like consistency and said that she definitely didn't find it a relaxing experience. Also she said it took some time in the shower to wash off the globules.Donna, United Kingdom - 12th February 2011
I bought this as a present and ended up keeping it for myself because I was so intrigued. I was really disappointed. A ten quid single-use bath and I followed the instructions to the letter. It just felt like I had poured a bucket of sand into the water. Wouldn't buy it again or recommend it.Caitlin, Dorset - 4th February 2011
Not very good. It was like having a bath in fish eggs. I had the relax version wouldn't recommend it.Sara, Huntingdon Uk - 30th January 2011
Firebox says: Sorry to hear that Sara, drop us an email via info@firebox.com and I'm sure we can help!
My boyfriend got me this for Christmas and it is the best bath I have ever had in my entire life! AMAZING!!!Sadie, Sheffield - 5th January 2011
I absolutely love this product and buy it quite often. There are other companies/stores that sell a product similar to this but not as good. I have bought this for myself and also received a number of them as gifts, overall I estimate that I have used about 15 of the bath gel products and have only ever had a problem with one of them as it never quite changed (it just stayed as water) but all of the others have been perfect Although they don't completely change back to water with stage two it does no harm to your drains or pipes what so ever (it goes down with out clogging).
RECOMMEND TO ANYONE 100% SATISFACTION!!!Elishia, North East Of England - 3rd January 2011
Firebox says: Great to hear Elishia, sounds like you're a lifetime fan!
I loved it! My 5 year old wanted to share my bath, so while it wasn't quite the relaxing wallow I was hoping for it meant we didn't use much water so the result was a lot thicker than some other reviewers have described.
As has been said, the salt isn't enough to dissolve the jelly. It half works, so you can empty the bath but you will probably need a shower to get the jelly blobs off you.
As for questions about eczema etc. The instructions mention eczema and psoriasis, and there's a questionnaire which asks if it helped to improve your skin condition, so I'd guess that it's safe for sensitive skin.Jellyhead, Staffordshire - 29th December 2010
Firebox says: Sharing's caring as they say! Thanks for the additional skin condition information too,
I bought this product for my other half a while back and she's been waiting for the best time to use it (especially with it being ten quid a box!)
So the perfect time finally came, a nice relaxing Christmas soak, however the relaxation aspect didn't last long.
The gel turned the water into a beady frog-spawn type solution, and the second sachet did very little in terms of returning it to water.
The result, as a previous commenter has mentioned, was a shower afterwards just to get the gakky stuff off her body and out of her hair.
Certainly wouldn't recommend, far more hassle than it's worth and got me in the dog house!Jay D, Doncaster - 29th December 2010
Firebox says: We're really sorry to hear that Jay! Sounds like there may have been a problem with the solution, get in touch via info@firebox.com and we can see about resolving this.
