Imagine having a 52in TV shoved up against your face...
Vuzix's iWear glasses let you watch TV or play games on two tiny ultra-sharp OLED Screens that produce an image equivalent to a vast flatscreen a few feet away.Live (Mail On Sunday) - Apr '09

I was wondering if you can use these with gaming consoles like the xbox360 or the play station 3?? this would be very helpful trying to decide what I would like for xmas thanks.Tyler Malloy, Wayland MA - Dec '08
Firebox says: all models but the VR920 will support games Consoles! Back of the net!
I am registered blind but like most blind people I have a tiny bit of vision. Two days ago I was visiting another blind person, now I haven't been able to watch TV for the last 15 years, and this mate said "Here try these on". WHAT AN ABSOLUTE SHOCK I HAD! I sat there watching TV through these, they are a miracle of modern science it was as though my eyes had started to work again! I really wish I could afford to buy these but you can rest assured I'll spend as much time as I can round at my mates using his.Robert Stoker, Whitehaven - Nov '08
Firebox says: That is amazing Robert!
These glasses are the best I've ever seen. Who new firebox was better than Specsavers.Marcus Andre, West Bromwich - Mar '09
Does the head tracking function work with Xbox 360 games?Simon Hick, Shropshire - Dec '08
Firebox says: According to the suppliers, this works with the XBox 36 0games listed on the site! Good Times!
Is it possible to use one of these if you're bespectacled?Audrey, York - Apr '08
Firebox says: The tech support guys say that you can use these with glasses but you wont be able to use the eye shield with the unit. To make it a better fit you can actually take the nose piece out and turn it 180 degrees, making the iWear sit higher on the nose. This does work in regards to them fitting on the face but without the eye guard you can see over the top and out the sides more...
That looks pretty damn good. Sweet.Andy, Romford, England - Apr '08
I was wondering, the AV920 only has 640 X 480, but does the picture still look fairly good through them, please reply quick as my dad wan'ts to know because I was thinking of asking for them for christmas.Stephen Robinson, Seaham - Nov '09
Firebox says: Yea it still looks great.
I'm seriously considering buying these, but I want to get a few things straight.
Apparently, you can plug the cheapest model into a regular TV. So doesn't that mean I can plug it into a PC then?
Also, do the specs encompass your whole field of vision? Or can you see out through the top and stuff?
Finally, my head is a bit larger than average. Not very much, but I wanted to know if a slightly big-headed man can wear them.Slightly Unsure, Lancashire - Nov '09
Firebox says: TVs and PCs have different connections. The VR920 is specifically for PC use.
Sometimes, depending on the contours of your profile, you can see a bit of light from underneath or above the specs. If you have this problem, we sell Light Blockers as an accessory!
The glasses fit similarly to standard sunglasses, so if you don't have an issue wearing sunglasses, you should be fine. However, if you find sunglasses to be terribly painful, this may not be the product for you...
Umm I dont get it - I really want to buy it but I dont know enough about it - how do you get movies on their, can you plug it on to your computer and download songs and movies ect, can you watch tv on their nd how, if you plug it in to your iphone what happens than can you send stuff like movies and songs from their?????????? thank you xxx.Confused Girl, I Am From Wales - Oct '09
Firebox says: The glasses basically replace your TV. So if you have a dvd player, iPod, Xbox etc, you just plug it into the glasses instead of the back of your tele.
Can you actually use these with just a normal TV?John Savage, United States - Oct '09
Firebox says: yes
