Vuzix's iWear glasses let you watch TV or play games on two tiny ultra-sharp OLED Screens that produce an image equivalent to a vast flatscreen a few feet away.Live (Mail On Sunday) - Apr '09

I was wondering if you can use these with gaming consoles like the xbox360 or the play station 3?? this would be very helpful trying to decide what I would like for xmas thanks.Tyler Malloy, Wayland MA - Dec '08
Firebox says: all models but the VR920 will support games Consoles! Back of the net!
I am registered blind but like most blind people I have a tiny bit of vision. Two days ago I was visiting another blind person, now I haven't been able to watch TV for the last 15 years, and this mate said "Here try these on". WHAT AN ABSOLUTE SHOCK I HAD! I sat there watching TV through these, they are a miracle of modern science it was as though my eyes had started to work again! I really wish I could afford to buy these but you can rest assured I'll spend as much time as I can round at my mates using his.Robert Stoker, Whitehaven - Nov '08
Firebox says: That is amazing Robert!
These glasses are the best I've ever seen. Who new firebox was better than Specsavers.Marcus Andre, West Bromwich - Mar '09
Does the head tracking function work with Xbox 360 games?Simon Hick, Shropshire - Dec '08
Firebox says: According to the suppliers, this works with the XBox 36 0games listed on the site! Good Times!
Is it possible to use one of these if you're bespectacled?Audrey, York - Apr '08
Firebox says: The tech support guys say that you can use these with glasses but you wont be able to use the eye shield with the unit. To make it a better fit you can actually take the nose piece out and turn it 180 degrees, making the iWear sit higher on the nose. This does work in regards to them fitting on the face but without the eye guard you can see over the top and out the sides more...
That looks pretty damn good. Sweet.Andy, Romford, England - Apr '08
Will any of these glasses work with a Xbox 360 as I also use that as a DVD player. If so, which ones?Jericho, Sunderland - Feb '10
Firebox says: All of them, apart from the VR920 which is for PC's only.
I know it probably won't but would any of them work with a Nintendo ds lite?Declan Horton, Gloucestershire - Feb '10
Firebox says: It hasn't been tested, but it highly unlikely that a suitable connection could be made.
For the price of the VR920, you would think it was PC compatible, DVD and other media systems. Are there plans to bring out a universal model?
I somehow feel that I'm being cheated here.Dave, Preston - Jan '10
Firebox says: No plans at the present. Sorry!
Isn't Firebox selling the older versions of Vuzix anymore? :(.Marius Høvik, Norway - Jan '10
Firebox says: I'm afraid it's out with the old to make way for the new.
