Senz Umbrella

This umbrella's going nowhere!

The weather's nuts these days, so it makes sense to invest in a quality umbrella. Unfortunately, even the finest ones have a habit of blowing inside out when the wind gets up. And in terms of embarrassment factor, wind-related brolly malfunctions are right up there with treading in doggie doo and tripping up the kerb. Step forward the revolutionary Senz Umbrella.

Senz Umbrella

Award winning rain repeller

Already creating a storm amongst umbrella aficionados, this award-winning rain repeller utilises futuristic stealth bomber styling to prevent it from blowing inside out. In fact its ingenious aerodynamics allow it to withstand gale force gusts!

Senz Umbrella

The hi-tech Senz's asymmetrical, self-positioning shape means that the wind simply flows over its eye-catching canopy. What's more, its distinctly un-brolly-ish shape gives you better visibility as you walk through the rain.

Senz Umbrella

No chance of poking anyone!

Thanks to its patented construction and quality finishing, the durable Senz will withstand inclement weather year in, year out. It's safer than a regular brolly too, because its canopy is attached to its struts without all those pointy protrusions that might poke an eye out.

Senz Umbrella

Push button and pull down
to open up the umbrella!

Armed with the pioneering Senz you'll never have to chase after an inside-out umbrella again. Indeed this brilliant brolly is so impressive Rihanna based her summer smash 'Umbrella' on it. All right, she didn't, but she might have had she witnessed it defying the wind, repelling the rain and looking pretty cool to boot.

This smart umbrella really is a godsenz (see what we've done there?) for anyone who wants to avoid arriving at their destination looking like a drowned rat. And unless you're some kind of drip, that means you. So hurry up and hit Buy. It won't blow you away but you know it makes Senz!

Excellent product as proved by walking the my daily vortex wind tunnel. It has never once let me down. Don't grip too tight and the umbrella will do all the work protecting you from the wind and rain.

Received this as a gift a while ago, but last night it blew inside out on the way home. First time it's ever been exposed to strong winds too. Oh well.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift. Not used much, however, the umbrella now fails to stay extended. The mechanism that holds the extension arm in place is broken. Very disappointing.

Bought a couple of these from here, used them fine a few times, then one got a bent spoke for no obvious reason. Fair play to Firebox, they replaced it FOC very quickly, so thanks to them for that. You do get some funny looks, but at least you have some confidence that it'll cope with fair amounts of wind.

I was bought this as an xmas present. The first time I used it. . The wind caught it as I was opening it, and turned it inside out. But, it didn't break, like a normal umbrella would have done. However, I don't think the umbrella is suitable for city streets. Because of it's strange shape, and the fact that it turns in the wind, it's very difficult to walk around without hitting other people with it as it turns! Also it's designed for wind only coming in one direction. Which doesn't help if you're walking round buildings and the wind suddenly changes direction as you turn a corner. The umbrella has turned inside out a couple of times as a result and now one of the metal spokes is broken, just 6 months after I got it :(

After getting drenched head to toe in a very heavy thunderstorm on the way to my guitar practice - I decided to buy an umbrella. I came across the Senz on FB and thought it was a very good idea so I ordered the full size version. Well, lets just say I tested it on the seafront on a miserable day with gale force winds and it didn't flinch a bit ! Ok. . So I accidentally pressed the fold-up button while holding it and had the umbrella close on my head sending my mother into hysterics - it still did as it says, withstood 60mph gales. I now take my Senz with me with pride into town and grin at people when their's turns inside out. Thanks Firebox for this wonderful creation.
