Bicygnals

Fix the front unit onto the handle bars

Forget wheelies, no-hands and bunny-hops; riding a bicycle is about staying safe and being seen. That's why it's vital to signal when turning. The trouble is you need to take your hand off the handlebars, stick it out and risk high-fiving a lamp post, walloping a wing mirror or face-slapping a pedestrian. That's why you need Bicygnals.

Bicygnals

No need for hand signals!

These ingenious bicycle lights feature wireless indicators that can be operated with a flick of the thumb - no frantic arm-waving required. Brilliant! Wireless technology enables both front and rear indicators to work in perfect sync. Simply slide each sleek light cluster onto the adjustable clamps and you're away.

Bicygnals

Wireless communication between the front and rear units

Bicygnals

Rear unit fits comfortably under the seat

The super bright orange LED indicators are visible from the side as well as head-on, so fellow road users will always know when you're about to make a turn. There's even a hazard-style distress function. And thanks to a super bright 5 LED headlight, super bright 3 LED rear light and integrated front and rear reflectors your bike will be brighter than the brightest bike in Brightville. In fact you'd have to be pretty dim not to appreciate the benefits of owning a set of Bicygnals.

Bicygnals

Impressive front unit!

Bicygnals

Both units clip together for easy storage

If you're worried about getting your hi-tech lighting system pinched, worry not. Bicygnals slip off their clamps in seconds and both units slot together to fit in a nifty carry case. Thinking about it, it's worth buying a bike just to champion the cause of these potential life-savers. They look pretty cool too.
Bicygnals

When clipped together the units slide nicely into the carry case

Battery operated, Bicygnals comply with road vehicle lighting regulations and can be fitted onto virtually any bicycle. So unless you're pootling around on some daft contraption sans handlebars and saddle post we strongly suggest you stay safe with a set of Bicygnals. Ding-ding!

I purchased some of these indicators, there were fantastic. Really visible in the dark. Can be seen from at least 400m away!

visitor avatar I bought these a couple of years ago directly from the inventor for £30 for my Mum. They were brilliant. But the only problem was that my mum's bike had a pannier holder and the rear bicygnal did not fit onto the back, but with a few plastic tagy things and some thick tape I managed it. Very Good. Recommended. Buy.
James Poll, Worthing, West-Sussex - 25th October 2011
visitor avatar Apologies for another question! But could you tell me if these would attach to a Boardman Hybrid Team bike. Mostly the front lights, as the cross bar is a little thick! Thanks in advance.
Mike, The Wirral - 21st June 2011
Firebox says: We're unable to test it specifically Mike, but the attachment is adjustable, so there shouldn't be any issues.
visitor avatar Can someone tell me what type of pwer source they use? If Batterues tehn what type and how long do teh lights run for on average before needing their power source recharged.
Mike, The Wirral - 17th June 2011
Firebox says: 4x AA batteries in front unit (included) and 4x AAA batteries in rear unit (included)
visitor avatar Very good bike lights, however they are over priced.
Kunal, England - 13th January 2011
visitor avatar I was wondering if it was possible to remove the reflectors? (To make it look a bit more aesthetically pleasing).
Joey Everett, Bath - 24th November 2010
Firebox says: They aren't designed to be removed, however with some ingenuity it would be possible.
visitor avatar I got my bike lights yesterday. I must say they are very cool, they are worth every Penny. Firebox, well done on this product. And they are easy to set up. Can't really say much more about them. Just pure quality.
Paul Monk, Gloucester - 7th November 2010
visitor avatar I have to say I was very disappointed with Bicygnals. When I received my order I was very pleased with the lights first, but when I attached them to my bike, the indicator buttons came lose, so I sent them back. The replacements arrived the following Monday, I attached them to my bike and I discovered that the rear lights and indicators would not work. I would like to thank Firebox for their prompt customer service in getting my replacement lights, and subsequently my refund.
Matthew Field, Milton Keynes - 7th May 2010
visitor avatar Excellent product, though use hand signals in the day as they can't compete against sunlight. At night, you'll be safe as houses. As to the 'legality' of the front lights, I've never been moaned at by a copper. Plus they're insanely bright anyway. Don't see the problem....
Chris, Aberystwyth - 28th January 2010
visitor avatar Got my product today and they work great. I got tired of using hand signals but now I have these, work GREAT.
Theo Dryy, Pottstown, PA - 4th June 2009
visitor avatar I WAS MOST IMPRESSED IN THE TIME IT TOOK TO RECIEVE MY BICYGNALS! THE SIZE AND STYLE OF THE SIGNALS GIVE MY CRUISER A REAL CUSTOM LOOK! I HAVE TOLD ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT THESE. THIS IS A WELL BUILT AND QUALITY SYSTEM, EVERYONE INTO CYCLING SHOULD OWN THESE.
