Desktop LED Christmas Tree

Can I hear you
singing jingle bells?

Christmas trees are a real pain in the baubles, aren't they? Falling needles, tacky tinsel, iffy lights - and that's after you've destroyed half the house lugging the enormous things indoors. No, what you need is something smaller. Much smaller. So say season's greetings to the Desktop LED Christmas Tree.

Desktop LED Christmas Tree

Made out of circuit boards!

This tiny tree stands a mere 4" tall, so it's perfect for adding a touch of festive cheer to your desk. Better still it will appeal to all you geeks out there as its 'branches' resemble parts of circuit board and its base is a regular 9V battery. But why use a battery instead of a log or bucket, we hear you ask. Because the battery doubles up as a power source for the 16 flashing LEDs festooned across the tree. Oh yes it does!

Desktop LED Christmas Tree

Small and easy to set up!

Okay, so you're probably not going to replace your full size Christmas tree with this smart little gizmo (unless you're feeling particularly bah humbug) but the Desktop LED Christmas Tree still makes a great office companion. And it's certainly a lot neater than dotting your desk with fake snow and gaudy glitter - or are we the only dolts that do that?

Desktop LED Christmas Tree

Blings up your desk
Christmas style!

Stick this nifty tree in your home and at least you won't have to spend the twelve days of Christmas swearing at faulty fairy lights. And if you do decide to push the sleigh out decoration-wise, it's so small and light you can hang it from a full-size Christmas tree. (There's an innuendo-laden big/small festive witticism in there somewhere but we can't think what it is).

Whether you're a fan of pared-down decorations or you simply want to brighten up your desk without going down the cheese-o-rama route, the Desktop LED Christmas Tree is ideal. We'll even throw in the battery. So get ordering - 'tis the season to be geeky!

visitor avatar This has attracted favorable comments from colleagues and pleases the safety people by not being mains powered. It's very heavy on batteries - expect a working day of great display before first the blue, then green LEDs fade. After 4 working days using the included battery plus an supermarket alkaline, only the Red LEDs run after the first few minutes. Perhaps a redesign to run dimmer and light only a couple of LEDs at a time would improve the product. Still, I'm glad I bought it.

visitor avatar Fab little thing - stuck in yet another office without being allowed anything of the USB/non PAT tested persuasion - this little tree is the feature of my desk and colleagues are gasping in awe (okay maybe I'm over egging the pudding but it's pretty nifty!)... Sweet!

visitor avatar Got one of these trees on my pc at work, being the scrooges that our organisation is, they won't let us plug anything into the mains. So hey pay out for a little battery and have a very merry chrimbo, bah humbug!!! ps you need a very small fairy for the top.

visitor avatar This is a great little tree, however the battery that come with it is naff. Buy a proper battery or the blue and green LEDs will stop working. I guess they need more power than the red ones?

Firebox says: Hi James, thanks for letting us know.

visitor avatar The tree is great when it first starts off - the lights are bright and twinkling and it looks absolutely fabulous on my shelf in the office. Unfortunately the battery is not sufficient to have it run that long. I have had to find another battery and keep it on charge. The red lights last longer but the green and blue soon fade. I'd say it last's about an hour before a new battery is needed.
