"Mugs are a great way to cheer up your kitchen and get you something new for not much money and when you put a cup of tea inside them, then all's right with the world - well just so long as you don't put the news on anyway. And when you're making drinks for guests, the handy colour strip at the top lets you know how much milk to add. Choose either tea of coffee and let no one complain that your tea tastes like dishwater because it'll be their own fault if it does."The Independent - The Information - Mar '09

Will this be in stock before Xmas? Would make for a great pressie for my Tea-Mad Uncle :).Andy, Gerrards Cross - 25th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Andy, we're expecting these to come in soon. Keep your eyes peeled!
Loved it! That is until a very fine hairline crack appeared around the bottom of the cup after about 2 weeks.... 2 weeks later it just started leaking through said crack :(.Paul, Leyland - 3rd January 2011
Firebox says: Sorry to hear about that Paul, get in touch with our team on info@firebox.com and we will be able to help you out.
I have been waiting to order this for my mum's christmas present for what feels like months now, and it never seems to be in stock. Come on, firebox.Katie, Cheshire - 5th December 2010
Superb product! I bought one for my dad and he's very pleased with it!Saruny, - 19th February 2008
Great product! It came very useful for my brother who always complains I make "Masawati" tea (really, really weak tea), so now I can make him the perfuct cuppa! Thanx Firebox!Katie, Ipwsich - 13th February 2008
Good idea but could maybe do with a time listed under each swatch colour noting how long to leave the teabag in for strength.Richard, Southend - 19th December 2007
I think this is also a good idea and I agree with others that there are more than four shades/strengths of tea, but at least with the four shades you get a closer match than what you would with out them, but more shades would be nice please :D.Kirsty, Suffolk, UK - 8th November 2007
Definitely a brilliant idea! My Mum and I are always making cups of tea for each other and always getting it wrong, she invariably makes mine too weak, and I always leave the teabag in too long for her liking! But I agree there are most definitely more than 4 shades of tea colour! There's weak and watery, weak and milky, strong and milky, and strong without much milk-only the British would know that tea making is such a precise science! Ha ha!Charlie, London - 1st November 2007
Only four shades - I have 3 different strengths of tea throughout the day myself, then there's my mum, my son, my husband... Wonderful idea but I need at least 10 shades before it starts to be of use. Since it isn't beautiful it doesn't meet the William Morris dictum of useful or beautiful. Let me know when it has been developed to my specifications.... 'Fussy of Brighton'.Cait 'Fussy' Fleet, Lewes, East Sussex - 22nd October 2007
