Description

Any movement will trigger the motion sensor!

Introducing Echo Bot, the boggle-eyed alien with a message. What message? That's for you to know and passers-by to find out, because this wacky thingamabob is actually a stealth voice messenger that can insult, serenade or freak-out anyone who triggers its motion sensor. Brilliant!

Simply record your message (up to 10 seconds) in Echo Bot's rear mic, position the strange little critter wherever you fancy and wait. As soon as an unsuspecting victim passes within a metre of Echo Bot's eyeball sensor, the recording is activated. 'Oi, get away from my desk, loser!'

Description

Microphone and speaker

As well as recording intruder-get-lost-style messages you can use Echo Bot to relay messages of love: 'The bloke by the window fancies you,' insults: 'Urgh, you've got a face like a bucket of smashed crabs,' songs: 'Fat bottomed girls...,' or plain and simple memos: 'Dinner's in the dog; I'm out with Pinot and Grigio.'

Better still, Echo Bot's mic can be used to pick up recordings from your computer or TV. Just hold it near the speaker and Bob's your uncle - literally: 'You talkin' to me?' The possibilities are endless. We just freaked-out the boss by hiding an Echo Bot in the loo. He nearly tripped over his undies when the music to Jaws began emanating from beneath the bowl.

Description

Don't eyeball me now!

Thanks to Echo Bot's supremely bendable accordion-style legs and suction cup feet you can be a real sneak when it comes to positioning/hiding your cyclops messenger - and that makes it even funnier because recipients won't know who or what insulted/serenaded/complimented them. Result!

Echo Bot really is one of the most entertaining, sub-tenner gizmos we've ever seen, and we guarantee you'll be unable to stop playing with this strange alien, at home, school, work - wherever. So come on and hit the Buy button becau...Hold on, who said that?

visitor avatar Does it work in the dark too?
Maya, Estonia - 19th December 2011
Firebox says: Sorry Maya, it won't work very well in the dark, but it works great in a dark cupboard, as the light when someone opens the door will activate it, giving them a great surprise!
visitor avatar Mine lasted about a week then it stopped working not that it was working that great before that. The sound is tiny (not tinny but tiny) pretty useless for a gadget that is supposed to record and play sounds.
Paul, Swindon - 24th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Paul, please get in touch with us at info@firebox.com and we'll try to sort this out or you.
visitor avatar Love it! Bought it for a friends son but my bloke spotted it, wanted it and now owns it. We've had loads of laughs with the Echo Bot already. The possibilities really are endless!
Zowie, Norfolk - 27th October 2011
visitor avatar Really loved my friend's but mine arrived with nearly dead batteries. I can't figure out how to get it open to change them. Could you give instructions please. I am looking forward to having fun with it. I may even use it in the classroom.
Jill, Spain - 25th July 2011
Firebox says: Sure can Jill, you simply unscrew the 'face' - it twists anti clockwise - and beneath that there is a compartment for the batteries with a single small screw. Hope that helps!
visitor avatar Brought one ages ago like a year and it never worked so I wouldn't know lol.
JayJ, Watford, Herts - 3rd April 2011
visitor avatar I love this thing!it all started when I noticed my SECRET cookie tin level getting lower and lower so I put the little alien guy in the SECRET cookie tin and left my room and later in the day heard a scream followed by "what the bloody hell is that" realising it was my sister all along and never have had to again!
Jess,10,, Somewhere In France - 18th December 2010
visitor avatar Good fun, but it lost its stick which is annoying, and can`t hide anywhere! It could have been on the ceiling and high up, but no. . :( good little thing, could be amazing if it stuck.......
Kate Wilson, London - 18th December 2010
visitor avatar Can you record a message and then keep recording different ones? Or does it stick with the one you record first? Thanks FireBox xxxxxxxx.
Bette, Mars - 2nd December 2010
Firebox says: You can record over and over again!.

Mrs Julie Ann Williams, Rhydyfelin Area - 29th November 2010
visitor avatar Worra hoot! Love it, love it, love it! Stuck him under the loo seat lid and scared the living bejeebers out of my daughter, then had a good laugh.
