Smoking Mittens

Freezing fingers? Use these!

Now that the smoking ban is in full force, all you ciggie-wielding social pariahs have been rightfully cast into the wilderness. Well okay, you've been cast into the pub forecourt and the office car park. And by jiminy it's cold, innit?

Smoking Mittens

Metal eyelet to accommodate your cigarette

Thankfully Smoking Mittens are here to save the day, not to mention your freezing fingers. These ingenious designer mittens have been specifically created to hold your ciggie and keep your hands warm and toasty as you brave the elements. How? Well, one of the insulated mittens (left/right reversible) features a nifty metal eyelet to accommodate your cigarette. Clever, eh!

Yes, we suppose you could use a pair of skiing gloves, but even if you managed to keep hold of your cigarette through clumpy insulated fingers you'd probably set your gloves on fire every time you got down to the butt. And you don't want your hands to be that warm, do you?

Smoking Mittens

Schmoking

An ideal gift for foolhardy tobacco addicts, Smoking Mittens are destined to become must-have accessories this, and every other, winter. And let's face it, you're already damaging most bits of your body with nicotine, so why put your delicate ikkle fingers at risk from frostbite?

Smoking Mittens

Cool packaging

As packed pavements prove, a piddly indoor ban isn't going to deter the more intrepid smoker from lighting up, but freezing weather may well do. That's why we reckon Smoking Mittens are going to be seriously popular. They really are the ultimate smoker's companion. So stop puffing and get ordering. At least your fingers will thank you for it.

Visitor Reviews...

visitor avatar I have been smoking mackerel since I was a nipper and these gloves are of absolutely no use to me.
Ryan Harrington, Sussex - 6th February 2012
Firebox says: These are for a slightly different kind of smoking Ryan!
visitor avatar Got this for a friend. She thought it was great and though it was a good present, I personally question the practicality as she has small hands and they look like massive oven mitts!
Anonymous, London - 12th February 2011
visitor avatar Great idea, but is it any good for roll ups? I quite fancy a pair of gloves that enables the ability to roll a fag and use a lighter... hmmm...Perhaps I should invent some....
Melissa, Brighton - 3rd December 2010
Firebox says: I'm afraid you'd struggle to roll up in these, they are designed for the smoking afterwards. If do invent it you could be on to something, and please let us know!
visitor avatar Finally - I am devoted smoker who is tired of getting frostbite in her fingers, or turning her favourite gloves yellow, so these are right up my street. Unfortunately, the biggest problem with gloves is trying to work a lighter without setting fire to the thumb, and I suspect that you might burn yourself quite horrifically if you don't remove the fag from the glove in plenty of time, but we smokers are society's daredevils so what do we care?
Rachel Evans, London - 3rd December 2008
visitor avatar More of a question. Do you have to load the cigarette in before you put the mittens on, and once you've smoked it, how do you get it out of the eyelet without setting the mitts on fire?
Simon, Leighton Buzzard - 29th November 2008
Firebox says: The best way to 'load' the cigarette into the glove is to put the mitten on, then with your free hand, load the cigarette, and light before putting the other mitten on. Once finished, take other glove off and then take dead cigarette out. At least that's how I found it best to do!
visitor avatar Thanks Firebox!! No more fingerless gloves for me or keeping my hands in my pockets while getting smoke in my eyes!! Genius!! We're not bad people, we just want to die in our own unique way ;-).
