American Candy

Peanut butter - Americans love it!

Americans don't wear trousers, they wear pants. They don't use lifts, they take the elevator. They don't drink pop, they drink soda. And they certainly don't eat sweets, they eat candy. But, boy oh boy, what lipsmackin' candy it is. And thanks to your globetrotting friends at Firebox, you can buy a whopping great box full without crossing the pond.

Our American Candy box contains a star spangled selection of chocs and sweeties from the good ol' US of A. Ideal for homesick Americans, curious rest-of-the-worlders and chocoholics looking for any old excuse to order a box of calorific loveliness, this is US choccy at its finest.

American Candy

Baby Ruth (as seen in The Goonies), 3 Musketeers and Butterfinger!

Top of the heap must surely be the mighty Hershey Bar. More American than apple pie and the Liberty Bell combined*, this 227g monster will transport you to the land of the free the second you munch into it. Talking of Hershey, we'll also chuck in a Cookie & Cream bar for good measure. Yum!

American Candy

Tootsie Roll - chewy, chocolatey goodness.

American Candy

It's milk chocolate - but not as we know it!

Also included is a 3 Musketeers bar (think choctastic Milky Bar), a massive Tootsie Roll (number one Stateside chewy choccy), a Baby Ruth bar (sort of Snickers-ish), a Butterfinger Bar (crispety, crunchety, peanut buttery treat), some Tropical Fruit Lifesavers (fruity hard candies), a monster pack of Reese's Mini Peanut Butter Cups and some Peanut Butter M&Ms. Hot diggity doo!

There's probably some screamingly obvious reason why this delicious choc's popularity is confined to the USA, but we've been too busy scoffing to attempt working it out.

American Candy

Peanut Butter M&M's, Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme and Life Savers!

In fact, once you're surrounded by a huge stash of Yankee doodle candy you're liable to have a real nice day and forgive America for practically anything: beating Blighty in the War of Independence, saying 'erbs instead of herbs, the Jonas Brothers, cancelling Saved by the Bell, Paris Hilton...well, maybe not Paris Hilton.

*Yes, pedants, we know neither originated in the US.

visitor avatar The Hesheys bar tastes like chocolate M and Ms.
Oliver, Sheffeld - 17th February 2012
visitor avatar Ordered it on the Monday morning, came Tuesday afternoon. Not the biggest fan of peanut butter, but adore the peanut butter cups and the butterfinger. As a curious Brit looking to see what the fuss was all about, I now know why 1/4 Americans are obese ;).
Lindzo, Pembrokeshire, Wales. - 8th February 2012
visitor avatar Will you be selling the South African version of this again before Christmas? Please please please!
Jessica, Kent - 8th December 2011
Firebox says: I'm afraid not, sorry Jessica.
visitor avatar I regularly order American products off another import website but this pack works out much cheaper! I am addicted to peanut butter so this is ideal! Yes, there are British alternatives eg snickers, etc. But this is mainly about the gimmick that they're American bars. I love it.
Sai, South West - 16th November 2011
visitor avatar Could you do a nut free pack and would it be cheaper ?? x.
Georgie, - 25th July 2011
Firebox says: Sorry Georgie, we can't really pick and match.
visitor avatar This was bought for my husband who I took to Hershey World and quickly became hooked on only Hershey Chocolate. To him it's the best in the world, so the rest was given out as he only likes Hershey Chocolate and hates peanuts. Many thanks for a nice set-up of candies, but the price will keep me from buying any more of these, it's just cheaper for me to get it sent from the states with more Hershey bars weighing in heavier then the large bar. Lower the price and we'll most likely buy it again as we're hooking our friends on Hershey candies and I'm actually making money having a friend ship it to me from the states!
Timber-Gray Kolsun Draper, GB - 4th April 2011
visitor avatar Are all of these suitable for vegetarians?
Beth H, Glos, England - 4th April 2011
Firebox says: They sure are, although a number of them contain nuts.
visitor avatar I agree the price should be cheaper, I bought all the items on americansweets. co.uk for 16. 85 with delivery !
Jodi, Manchester - 7th March 2011

visitor avatar Just received my American sweets and I think this makes a great present. One criticism though, I think the price of this should be reduced, perhaps to £12. 99 or somewhere around that mark. Not enough sweets for the money.
Ems, Midlands - 25th February 2011
visitor avatar Brought some of these for my friend when they were £13. 99, once I opened the box I came straight online to order myself some. But they had gone up to £17. 99 again. Bad times! so may have to skip it this time but i'm keeping my eyes peeled for this amazing offer again woohoo!
