Simply charge the Ni Cd pump and take it along with your Aerobed Active to, well, to just about anywhere! The Aerobed Active product is not water resistent as the flocked surface on the top would absorb moisture. If the Aerobed was left out in the rain for example it would need drying out properly.

This is not a lifesaving device. Do not leave children unattended in or around water.
Do not use the bed when less than fully inflated. Make sure the bed is fully inflated before each use.
Standing, jumping or walking on the Aerobed Active may result in injury and/or damage to the bed. Do not jump, stand or walk on this bed.
This bed should never be used within a bed frame. It should be placed on a flat surface on the ground or floor only.
This bed is made of plastic and therefore may melt or burn if it comes into contact with any flame or heat source. Do not place this bed near or against heaters, open flame, or other hot objects.
Do not place the bed on abrasive surfaces or in contact with sharp or protruding objects.

WARNING: Pump is not a toy - children must be supervised at all times. Warn children that improper use can be fatal.
The charger is a mains voltage device. Do not use it in or around water.
Do not place pump or charger where they could fall or be pulled into the water.

The pump contains Nickel-Cadmium batteries.
The pump should not be incinerated.
The pump should not be overcharged or reverse charged.
The pump batteries are not replaceable. Do not attempt to replace them.

This bed is absolutely brilliant--inflates in no time and is v comfortable. Great for when you have extra guests staying. My only gripe is that you can't run the pump from the mains--this is a real pain because if you forget to charge it up in advance there's no bed for you until you've waited a couple of hours for the pump to charge. Otherwise, fab.

Put a space blanket or some other good insulation between the mattress and your bottom sheet or you will spend the night trying to keep the mattress warm...

I’ve been sleeping on my Aerobed Active for 5 months now. It’s such a fantastic bed, it has become my permanent bed. Easy to set-up and inflate (only 40 seconds!) and likewise to deflate and pack away. The built in pillow is great, although I still use a pillow on top. Unlike some other blow up beds that state they’re the same size as a normal mattress, but aren’t, the Aerobed Active is the same length as a standard mattress, and an inch or two wider! Standard sheets fit like a glove, and don’t come off during the night. Comfortable to sleep on, even if you toss-and-turn a lot. Although I’ve only used it indoors, I would thoroughly recommend this inflatable bed, whether used for only a few days, or long-term. Aerobed ROCKS!

My friends and I went away camping recently. Everything went wrong, except the Aerobed! It was constantly raining so we spent our days in the pub - but even though we had to spend 3 nights in our tent there weren't any complaints, thanks to the Aerobed! Every brand makes promises but the Aerobed delivers! Quick and easy to pump and deflate, it made camping easy!
