MiniCat

Carry it anywhere!

Most boats are about as portable and storable as, well, boats. And unless you own a waterside mansion with a jetty you need a substantial front garden, very understanding neighbours and one of those cumbersome trailer thingies to get it from A to sea. And that's a shame because messing about on the water is one of life's great pleasures. So thank Neptune for the groundbreaking MiniCat.

MiniCat

"Does my boat look big in this?"

This unique two-person catamaran is fully collapsible and supremely portable, so it is ideal for all you wannabe boaters who thought boat ownership was strictly for the rich, the famous and the winners on Bullseye.

Thanks to its inflatable twin floats, the lightweight but super-sturdy MiniCat fits into a single (1350x280x280mm) bag, so you can pop it in the boot of your car and keep it in the attic, the cellar or even a cupboard when it's not in use. Forget about mooring fees; with the MiniCat you can get into sailing without the usual complications and costs of owning a boat.

MiniCat

Okay, so it's not going to get you to Monte Carlo but at least you can go sailing whenever you want. And if you do own an Abramovich-style super-yacht you can stow the MiniCat below decks and put it together whenever you fancy an invigorating mini-voyage.

MiniCat

Speaking of putting it together, assembling the MiniCat is a doddle. Its smart design means that one person can assemble it, without tools, in around 30 minutes. And because the entire kit and caboodle weighs in at under 35kg, this brilliant boat in a bag can be carried right to the water's edge. You can even put the bag on your back, rucksack style. Brilliant!

MiniCat

On your marks...

Despite the whole portability angle the MiniCat is not some toytown boat for duck pond botherers. It's a serious sailing boat with excellent handling characteristics that has been designed for budding yachtsmen and experienced sailors alike. So stop dreaming about owning a boat, ya landlubbers. Let the MiniCat out of the bag and hit the water without the hassle.

visitor avatar I have been lucky enough to have a test sail on a MiniCat and can assure potential buyers that they will not be dissappointed. I had great fun, once you catch the wind, you're off. Very easy to assemble and pack away. Well worth the money.
