Solar Lights
Candles? Don't be dim!

Cycles through hypnotic colours
This means you can plop them in your pond or swimming pool. And if you haven't got a pool we suggest you start digging because the effect of a few Solar Lights bobbing around on shimmering water is quite mesmerising.

As well as a colour-changing LED, each Solar Light contains a NiCad battery and solar panel. Just allow the panel to soak up a few rays and you'll never have to faff around with candles again. Besides, who can be bothered with all that wick-trimming business? Not us, because throwing an outdoor soiree is hectic enough without having to play hunt-the-tealights. And that's before they get blown out by a gust of wind.

I'm really interested in these lights but I would rather not have the color change. Can you remove or disable the color disk?Bonnie, Memphis - 12th June 2007
Firebox says: I am afraid not Bonnie, you know you love the colour really!
Very nice and look grand in the pond - but make sure you turn them on before you throw them in, as it was a real pain to fish them out when I realized my mistake! Nice product, great for a civilised evening out.Darran Taylor, Reading, Berks - 1st June 2007
