This intriguing alternate reality game, where fact and fiction remain permanently blurred, has had puzzle fans riveted from the moment it was unveiled in 2005. And that's hardly surprising because Perplex City's opening season led to a global treasure hunt involving cryptic puzzles, live events, stray emails and mysterious websites. Oh yes, and a $200,000 prize!

The good/bad news is that some lucky guy solved Season One of Perplex City in February 2007 and pocketed all that lovely loot. So thank goodness for Perplex City Season Two. That's right, puzzle fans; Season Two of this award-winning treasure hunt sees the release of three new waves of collectable puzzle cards - and a whole new puzzle portal featuring new storylines and mysteries.
These beautifully designed cards vary in complexity, from forehead-slappingly simple to fist-bitingly difficult. Last season's cards used heat-sensitive ink, microdots, ultra-violet effects and even scratch'n'sniff to hide clues - and these all new waves promise to be even more inventive.

The idea is to solve the puzzles and then enter your answers at PerplexCity.com to score points, earn kudos in the community and win fantastic prizes. Each card carries a unique ID number, ensuring that you and only you can claim the points you deserve.

Details:
- Each Perplex City pack contains 6 puzzle cards and 1 warm-up card.
- Cards measure 5¾" by 4¼".
- There are 256 cards in the set with an additional 324 warm-up cards to collect.

I ordered the Perplex City Card Album which I am very happy with. It will actually hold more than 256 cards, ideal for any swaps you might have lying around. Also, the design is a lot better than the rather plain Season 1 album last time round.

We joined the last season way too late so we're looking forward to getting immersed in the new season early on! The puzzles are so well designed, and bloomin addictive!
