| Games Magazine - the bible of all things card, dice and playing-piece related - voted Grass as one of their top games for seven years in a row following the game's debut in 1980. It disappeared for a while, but now its card-based pleasures are available for all to enjoy. The object is to hoard $250,000 worth of weed, while at the same time stopping your co-dealers from doing the same. You have the power to do both, thanks to the presence of both helping and hindering cards in the double deck of interestingly decorated cards.
Once you have learned what the different cards do (which takes a couple of games, in our experience), Grass quickly shows its true colors. Strategy, forward planning and deliberate ruining of other players' chances are the order of the day. The beauty of the game is that it can last anything from one to ten rounds of play. Get Dr Feelgood's $100,000 Peddle - the most prized strain of plant and rarest card available - and you can clean up immediately. If you're not ruined by the person on your left, that is. 
Of course, this excellent trading and opponent-screwing game could have been made with any kind of marketable commodity apart from its chosen crop, but it wouldn't be nearly as much fun. Game of 'Cheese' anyone? Exactly...

Fantastic game to play with housemates brings out everyones inner evil. Unfortunatley my inner evil emerged more than expeted when i descovered some daft muppet had knocked a bottle of liquid air freshner all over my deck. So im now on set number 2. | |||||||||
Played Grass as soon as it arrived pretty much and we couldn’t put it down until 1:30am! Once you have understood what the cards do (instructions very helpful!) the game is a cinch, so much fun with a few cards, mates and smokes. Best card game I’ve ever played. Excellent game, very good rules, encourages dirty play and stitching up your opponent, great ice breaker.
One thing to do to a mate for a laugh is to wait till they go to toilet, give them a GREAT hand (Euphoria etc) but remove all the market opens from the pack. Put one in each of your hands but none in his. When he comes back play as normal and watch as he squirms with this awesome hand he can do nothing with. Hilarious ! | |||||||||

God did make grass, and he did make fruit-flavoured sweets, and he gave them unto firebox, who bunged them into a box. Thine box was delivered unto me at a speedy pace for all to enjoy. Hoorrah! | |||||||||
