Dead Fred Pen Holder

 Crime Scene
We're always losing our favourite pen. And we just love eye-catching desktop companions. Maybe that's why we can't get enough of Dead Fred. This silicone rubber stiff appears to have unwittingly given his life for your pen placing pleasure. Which is nice. Simply place him on your desk and pop your pen in his chest. Ouch!
For some unfathomable reason absolutely everyone who claps eyes on Dead Fred adores him (well they do say everybody loves you when you're dead). Maybe it's his awkwardly splayed limbs, maybe it's his blood red colouring, maybe it's his tactile rubbery body. Or maybe it's because he's infinitely more distinctive than a boring old pen pot and the back of your ear. Whatever the reason, Dead Fred is set to become a desktop favourite amongst macabre stationery fans everywhere.
Speaking of stationery, once Dead Fred is flat-out by your keyboard you might like to recreate some sort of CSI-style crime scene to make him feel at home. We've already sealed off the area with some sticky tape, crafted a stretcher from two pencils and a notepad, and drawn round the body with correction fluid. But we were bored.
You, on the other hand, will probably be content plunging your pen of choice into this hapless chap time and time again, whilst enjoying the funky edge he adds to your workspace. So hurry up and get ordering before Dead Fred is gone forever. Got the point?

It's a mystery. Who did kill dead Fred? Or was he dead to begin with? All I know is that he makes a dam good pen holder!!!!!

Fab little product - thought it was going to be one of those 'will only hold a very slim bic pen' type products but oh no - holds the chunkiest of chunky pens
Loving the 'suck uk' products more and more - awaiting for my arrival of the splat stans... sadly my penny stash is running low so waiting until the new year for my own Dead Fred as I gave this one to my dad (bangs head against desk).
Kerry, Cotswolds - Dec '07 |
What a fab Christmas present this was - I will never lose my pen again ! And he sits nicely on my desk.

 | Cassette Tape Dispenser Audio tape sucked but cassettes remain icons of retro design. So hats off to the creators of these C90 style dispensers because each hard rubber 'cassette' reels off transparent tape as opposed to a hissy top 40 countdown from 1987. Ideal for music loving office workers.
