If you worship at the altar of the all-whitey iGod, it's high time you maximized your player's potential with a few nifty accessories. And they don't come any niftier than the ones made by our good friends at Griffin Technology. Synonymous with quality, Griffin's ingenious doodads will make your iPod do things you never dreamed possible.
iTrip Dock
Cleverer than a boxful of clever things from Clevertown, this teensy weensy gizmo will wirelessly beam the music trapped within your iPod to your car stereo, home HiFi or anything else with an FM receiver.
Simply snap the iTrip on to your iPod, select an available frequency using the handy switch on the side and start playing all your lovely playlists out loud. No more wires or clunky cassette adaptors - just an extra inch on your iPod.
With its chic Apple-esque styling, the iTrip won't spoil the lines of your oh-so sleek iPod. It even remembers its most recent settings, so you won't have to keep fiddling around for frequencies. But if you do, the iTrip's easy-to-read LCD screen makes finding a transmission frequency easier than pulling your pants off.
Unlike rival FM transmitters, the iTrip features groundbreaking digital jiggery pokery that allows you to adjust for the best possible audio - even in big cities with lots of radio stations crowding the dial. Indeed the sound quality is a truly impressive hiss-free delight. Headphones? Why bother!
iTrip nano
If all you nano fans are reading this and cursing the day you decided small was beautiful, then curse no more - there's an iTrip to fit the 1st generation nano too! Just as impressive as its bigger sibling, this nifty device uses the nano's screen to display tuning and setup information, so you can navigate menus with a single fingertip. And thanks to a built-in USB Mini-B port, you can charge/synchronize your iPod while the iTrip is in use.
PowerJolt
Picture the scene: you're driving along headbanging to Bohemian Rhapsody when your iPod runs out of power. Depressing? Totally. Especially when the operatic part is about to kick in. Thankfully, armed with the sleek PowerJolt, you won't have to do the fandango yourself. This in-car charger plugs into any cigarette lighter slot and charges your iPod whether it's playing music or in standby mode, ensuring you arrive at your destination fully charged. Magnifico!
iTalkPro
You're probably always talking to your iPod, telling it how much you love it. (Or is that just us?). But wouldn't it be great if your iPod could record what it hears. With the smart iTalkPro it can do exactly that. This chic little accessory boasts twin internal microphones for recording in CD-quality stereo, and is ideal for memos and more. If you fancy prancing around with a proper mic, simply plug one into iTalkPro's 3.5mm jack. There's even a fancy red light surrounding the one-touch recording button, so you can dictate in the dark.
But if you think that's clever, get this: iTalkPro also allows you to record off other audio devices straight into your iPod. Simply connect your CD player, radio (or any other gizmo with a headphone socket) and press record. Waddya think of them Apples!
iTrip Universal
No iPod? No problem! The iTrip Universal works with any digital device with a headphone socket. So now you can beam the music trapped inside your MP3 player, PSP or Nintendo DS to your car stereo, home HiFi or anything else with an FM receiver. Powered from either your car's 12 Volt accessory outlet.

This is a fantastic cool gadget. I brought the 'Nano Pocket' for my 2nd generation Nano as I have just got a newer car and it only had a radio/cassette player in. I used a cassette adapter plugged into my iPod for a while but it was such a pain having the wire trailing in the way.... No cables with this little gizmo & it also saves the expense of having a whole new stereo or CD changer installed. Very easy to set up & the sound quality is excellent. And very speedy delivery from Firebox too.... Thanks Firebox!!Jenny, Cambridge, UK - Nov '07
I hate having to listen to late night radio when I'm coming home from work. Now I have my iTrip Auto SmartScan 2009 rubbish radio is a thing of the past. It is soooo easy to use, plug it in to the cigarette lighter, search for the correct station on the car radio and presto I'm the DJ now.Stacey, Selkirk - Aug '09
Once again ANOTHER amazing buy from Firebox! Ordered it yesterday it came this morning! Couldn't wait to go for a drive with my iPod playing away! It's a little piece of genius. Works well, looks good, I love it.

Just opened my itrip and docked it into my 80g video ipod. And the tunes have broken free! This little box of technical wizardry allows you to wirelessly beam your tunes to any fm radio. In effect you are a mini radio station (somthing cool to tell your mates). Works off the ipod battery... genius! A fantastic and must have accesory for all pod owners. 10/10.Toby Fagn, Woolacombe, Devon - Mar '07
The I-trip is a must have for any one with a I-pod. Legendary.Martin Baker, Dartford - Apr '07
Does the iTrip DA really work with the iPod Classic 2007? This is the second iTrip I've tried now and it is still not working. Continually flashes but never actually switches on to scan a frequency. What am I doing wrong? I've also noticed the iTrip Controller app is only applicable to iPod touch and the iPhone but Griffin's website advertises it as available to download on the iPod Classic 2007. Very confused!Piara Strainge, Fleet, Hampshire - Nov '09
Firebox says: Word from our supplier is - the iTrip DA should work with the iPod Classic and I think you have been unfortunate with the two you have received. Get in touch on 0844 922 1010 and we can take it from there.
