New Left Handed Dunk Mugs!

Dunk Mugs are now available for all you lefties with the handle situated on the other side.

Dunk Mug

Dunker's dream

Sitting down with a nice cup of coffee and a few dunkable treats is one of life's greatest pleasures. The problem is you need somewhere to shove your goodies prior to dunking. And who can be bothered with all that plate stuff?

We certainly can't. Because as well as the extra dish washing, it's a little tricky holding a mug and a plate simultaneously. Well okay, it's not that taxing but the sophisticated slob needs all the help he/she can get. And transporting Boston creams in your mouth is never a good idea since it's impossible to resist scoffing them before you sit down.

Dunk Mug

Cookies not included

Enter the forehead-slappingly ingenious Dunker Mug. Loaded with why-didn't-I-think-of-that factor, this smart ceramic mug features a special compartment in which to store your beloved treats. Clever, eh!

Dunk Mug

Snacks on the go

Just think, with a couple of Dunker Mugs in the cupboard you'll never have to run back to the kitchen to fetch your cookies, or crack out the carpet cleaner when your attempts to balance biscuits on the rim of your mug end in tea-spattered failure.

The Dunker Mug is also ideal for coffee and cake in bed, because carrying two things at once up the stairs is always a tricky proposition first thing in the morning or last thing at night.

Dunk Mug

Holds 3 digestives

This dual-purpose triumph of design has been a huge hit here at Firebox HQ. In fact it has completely reawakened our love for tea and biscuits. We can't stop talking about the crumbly little things; the debate is raging as to what those little holes in Rich Teas are for, and we still can't decide whether Nice biscuits are pronounced 'nice' or 'niece'. Answers on a postcard to the usual address. Oh, and put the kettle on while you're at it.

visitor avatar Thank the Lord the lefty mug was created. I had been looking all over the internet for months until someone to do it, and guess who it was... the awesome firebox, typical ! LOVING IT.
Rona, Lefty, Scotland - Apr '08
visitor avatar Since my girlfriend got me one of these mugs I have been the envy of everyone in the office. Perfect for your 11 o'clock tea break, although beware of chocolate biscuits as they tend to leave nasty skid marks if not stacked correctly.
Tom, London - Aug '07
visitor avatar Ah, the perfect biscuit beverage balance once again restored in a dunkers idea of heaven. The tricky art of holding the two going up the stair in some sort of circus trick has been made much easier by our good friends at Firebox.

visitor avatar "product not available" ? :( I was going to get one a few days ago, but decided not to. I just changed my mind, and to my horror, no matter how much I search, i couldn't find the king of mugs! ...i had to search on google. So um. . Where is it?

Firebox says: Sorry! We unfortunately are no longer stocking these. Keep an eye out in the future to see if we re-sell these!

visitor avatar Can't we have a left handed version? If I used this I'd end up dropping my biscuits all over the floor.
Simon, London - Feb '08
Firebox says: Simon, we do sell the left handed version...

visitor avatar Brilliant! I was so inspired, I promptly built my own out of a cottage cheese pot, a polystyrene cup and a roll of gaffer tape. Ahh, the blue peter influence even extends to the great tea-drinking pleasures of this life!
Simon Field, Bath - Jan '07
Firebox says: DIY cups are all well and good, but we recommend the real thing for a genuine dunking experience!

visitor avatar At last, the development that all cuppa connoisseurs have been waiting for. The future for biccie-lovers is bright, don't let the wailings of the dextrous deformed (left-handers) put you off....
JamesLT, London - Jan '07
visitor avatar Any chance of getting a left-handed version? If a lefty used this, we'd drop our biscuits.
Dagmar, Illinois, USA - Nov '06
visitor avatar The greatest advance in mug technology since someone added a handle in the early part of the 18th century. Sheer Genius.
Michael, London - Nov '06
visitor avatar I always had no doubt in my mind tht it was pronounced "niece", but your review made me go Wiki it and now I don't have a clue! This can only result in disillusionment throughout the nation... the end of the biccies is nigh! (well, it will be once they've all got one of these mugs) Aaaaaargh!
