Ozitech Knife Sharpener

Pocket sized perfection

Gone are the days when nomadic, do-wot-as-it-appens geezers would knock on your door and ask if you wanted your knives sharpening. Today it's all about making do with blunt blades or buying some clumsy contraption that wouldn't look out of place in a torture chamber.

Fortunately the solution is here at Firebox in the compact shape of the Ozitech Knife Sharpener. Thanks to this ingenious little device your knives will soon laugh in the face of squishy vegetables, make mincemeat (not literally) of hard-man onions and... well, you get the picture.

Ozitech Knife Sharpener

Diamond coated fingers!

That's because the pocket-sized Ozitech utilises 8 stainless steel fingers bonded with crushed industrial diamonds to sharpen blades in a few swift swipes. Perfect for use in the kitchen, on the campsite, or wherever you may roam, the whole shebang sits inside a tough clam-shell case which doubles up as a handle and hand guard when unfolded. Very neat.

The sturdy little Ozitech works on any brand of (non serrated) knife, automatically honing the edge to an ideal 20° angle on each side of the blade in seconds - something that takes years of practise using one of those kebab shop-style steels. Simply swipe your knives through the Ozitech's springy fingers and hey presto.

Unlike the miracle knife sharpeners you see on those late-night shopping channels this little baby actually works. Okay, it doesn't come with a peeler, a blender and a set of tacky wine glasses, but it will deliver pro results every time.

Once you get sharpening with the Ozitech you'll wonder how you ever managed without it. So hurry up and hit Buy. Your knives will love you for it; your veggies will be cowering in fear!

visitor avatar It's great, my friend has one and he recommends seven sweeps but after 10 I can't even feel when it slices the flesh it's that sharp.
R. Smith, Scotland - 7th December 2010
visitor avatar Brilliant piece of kit. It's sturdy, and safe - and gets a fine edge on the knives. I don't trust my Sabatier to just any knife sharpener. A very good buy indeed.
Lisa F, Romford - 14th February 2010
visitor avatar Forget kitchen knives I'm using mine for my treasured swords. It works wonders, not as good as a whet stone but it's a lot easier to use :P.
Adam Byrne, Wellingborough England - 25th June 2009
visitor avatar Best thing I have in the kitchen lol ...just kidding, it's the best sharpener for knives I've had.
